On an annual basis, core PCE jumped 4.9%, up from last month’s reading at 4.7%. Annual inflation came in slightly hotter than expected as consensus forecasts called for an increase of 4.8%. Similar to the Consumer Price Index, the PCE is at its highest level in nearly 40 years.

I doubled my Gatos investment from 2% to 5% after 70% and then 12% fall this week. Silver production of 7moz has been rising, silver grades have been higher, aisc is getting lower, targets have been met each time. And a billionaire is involved. Tom Kaplan. Problems with faulty GATOS reserves seem linked to lead and zinc and not silver. Anyway GATOS 7moz / year with 200m mc compared to AG 25moz / year with 3000 mc. Cheap for sure. But a bet for sure. This is not advice.

All the gains the PMS achieved these last days and weeks, with Gold breaking the 1950, with Silver breaking the 24.50, are gone again. I have this groundhog feeling again. I's difficult to remain motivated when you know you are right with the PMS, but the markets tell you all the time you are wrong with the PMS. Anyway I sit. Foak them hard.

We haven't decided yet if we hike rates in March. What? He really said that? Yes he did.

Crazy to see the markets react like this to a FED non-event. Nothing changed. FED telling inflation is still there, FED telling that inflation is stronger and broader than anticipated, FED telling that the original planning of Tapering and Rate Hikes by March remain intact. The only thing that changed is that they still have to decide if they will hike rates in March which is bullish for PMS as it seems they are hesitating a bit to hike the rates as planned. Conclusion: Inflation is here to stay, and the FED is running seriously behind the inflation, and the FED is not speeding up things to hike the rates.

This will really happen in 2022:

Indeed, it still looks like we’re looking at a repeat of 2016 when the Fed claimed it was going to implement four rate hikes that year. Only one rate hike actually occurred. Anticipated rate hikes based on Fed signals also failed to appear in 2019, when Fed wathers at Goldman and JP Morgan predicted four Fed hikes that year. What actually happened was one rate hike (from 2% to 2.25%) followed by rate cuts later in the year.

Buy big miners that have invested in capital expenses over past decade. They're the ones that are sitting pretty here. Not small to mid size miners (base & pm) that will have to dilute to expand and explore.

I was not able to buy AG last week or this week as the market sell off has not been as large as our projection, and now with what the FED has stated yesterday, and the Dollars move that will not slow down for months we have no choice but to lower our Buy orders once again using the newest data we have, Mac

Simply#Wall#Street article - lolololol. Let's cherry pick a time period and go back 3 YEARS. Oh My. In past 3 years Keith Neumeyer has made more money in In-the-money Options, than company as a whole, has made in a Decade. True story.

Joe, concerning your statement "... this present situation is worse than any before. Honestly I have no idea how this one ends...". I fully agree with that. That's exactly what I also have been thinking since a year or so. Exceptional things mostly happen in exceptional times. Investing in PMS and miners is worth the small risk in my opinion, as the reward may be tremendous, making the risk/reward ratio very small. Anyway I'm still all in. 100% miners, 95% silver, 05% gold, with exposure to tin, lead, zinc and copper. Next to my physical, real estate, pension funds etc of course.
