Hard to find any sellers at this point on this stock. We are on a ride up that doesn't seem to be stopping unless we get a market sell off. What a change from when there were nothing but sellers pushing this thing down everyday for no reason.

    Good luck out there!

I bought in expecting to double my money. But, I've been sitting in the RED ever since. It sure can be a struggle from time to time.

Bought this many months ago as I saw this as a value stock. It is going down and down since then. So bad...

Anyone know why AGO went up more than 10% in aftermarket trading today!?! Is there new news related to the Puerto Rican debt crisis? Or is this something different!?!

Puerto Rico is not much different than Detroit, and both have been in economic decline for over 20 years. Actually, Detroit peaked sometime in the 70's. Also consistent is that both are heavily Democrat run government entities. National news articles never ever make that disclosure in their articles. Add in the states of Illinois and Connecticut, and on, and on ........

AGO is overvalued and MBI is way undervalued.

Lately shorts are having lot of losses, especially with stocks like BABA, TSLA and even MBI.
All these stocks were and are heavily shorted, BABA and TSLA rallied from low points during the last 52 weeks. Now MBI and FNMA are still heavily shorted, especially MBI is poised to rally to higher values.

I’m very happy to see that the company is continuing to do share repurchases even in the 2nd quarter and in July. I hope they continue to repurchase as many shares as they can get at the current bargain prices. That would increase the book value per share for all stockholders!

Sell AGO and buy MBI if you really want to avoid losing money in AGO and make money at the same time with MBi.

    THINK!
Recent panic in AGO is a tempest in a teacup sparked by inappropriate remarks by Trump. If federal and PR constitutional law is respected by the courts, AGO will be fine. Legal gymnastics going on now all centered around stalling for time, mainly so the corruption and inefficiency of the PR Commonwealth government does not have to be addressed. All the stays, which are so fervently protected, are to prevent a judge from reaching a judgement, which will almost certainly have to do fantastic gymnastics to reach any other conclusion that PR is required by it's own constitution to make a good faith effort to pay it's debt. That will require shrinking of the government, less corruption, and less lavish perks that PR's politicians routinely offer to buy votes to get into office. The day of reckoning is drawing ever closer. The stays on litigation are not indefinite,
