Trial update today on clinicaltrials.gov. The 'Study Start Date' has been moved to February 2021. It looks like the FDA has accepted the response by Altimmune on January 14th, but this does not mean they have approved the trial to start yet.

Looks like it is still moving forward, just seems to be moving at a snails pace.

Here’s my hope and a prayer:
ALT has been secretly asked to tackle the B117 variant of C-19. Funding will be billions coming in February 2021. I end up with $5MM in my Roth IRA, and another $4.5MM in my HSA accounts.

From the WHO global R&D forum on Friday: “The world needs multiple vaccines that work in different populations in order to meet global demand and end the COVID-19 outbreak. Ideally, those will be single-dose vaccines that do not require cold chain, could be delivered without a needle and syringe and are amenable to large-scale manufacture,” said Professor Mike Levine, Director of the Center for Vaccine Development at the University of Maryland.

ALT//Stock has become boring//$11>>15 range for past three months//Only news in the last two months was negative//"HOLD" on Nasal vaccine development//Meanwhile Analyst predict $80/50/30/28/26//But reality ALT is only $12.93 at this time//Everyone waits for the "HOLD" to be lifted//Mean while//Market is starting to trend down//ALT needs positive news tomorrow//Not next week or next week or next week//As the weeks go by without news ALT will trend down//

The FDA answer should come any time Monday or Tuesdays. We have to wait. Could be a good time to accumulate. If the answer is positive and they get Fast Track designation... we can see $40...or more...

Relax. FDA typically take 30 days
Alt most likely required 7-10 days
I’d say at least 1 week
    Max 2
By 29 we are in phase 1 and this stock will go to new high
The question is how high ?

Fellow investors, I am posting this not to scare you, but to make you aware -if needed- of some of the possible side effects of the hyped vaccines. Recurrences are now witnessed of Bell's palsy (with two cases i Southern Europe recently), as a likely conseuquence of Pfizer vaccine. What is it? Well, not exacrtly a walk in the park.
"The symptoms of Bell's palsy include sudden weakness in your facial muscles. In most cases, the weakness is temporary and significantly improves over weeks. The weakness makes half of your face appear to droop. Your smile is one-sided, and your eye on that side resists closing.

Bell's palsy, also known as acute peripheral facial palsy of unknown cause, can occur at any age. The exact cause is unknown. It's believed to be the result of swelling and inflammation of the nerve that controls the muscles on one side of your face. Or it might be a reaction that occurs after a viral infection.
For most people, Bell's palsy is temporary. Symptoms usually start to improve within a few weeks, with complete recovery in about six months. A small number of people continue to have some Bell's palsy symptoms for life. Rarely, Bell's palsy can recur."

A fascinating introductory article on computational biology, search "AIs that read sentences are now catching coronavirus mutations
NLP algorithms designed for words and sentences can also be used to interpret genetic changes in viruses—speeding up lab work to spot new variants."

Miami Doctor Dies After Receiving First Dose Of Pfizer Vaccine

    FRIDAY, JAN 08, 2021 - 9:50
As the US sees 4K confirmed COVID-19 deaths in a single day, the CDC is reporting another shocking potential reaction to the new mRNA-vector COVID-19 vaccines: A doctor in Miami has died two weeks after receiving his first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech jab.

Heidi Neckelmann, the widow of Dr. Gregory Michael, said her husband was vaccinated on Dec. 18, and died 16 days later. He was 56 years old, according to Sputnik. Patients typically receive a second dose of the vaccine 3 weeks after the first.

"In my mind his death was 100 percent linked to the vaccine. There is no other explanation," she said. "He was in very good health. He didn’t smoke, he drank alcohol once in a while but only socially. He worked out, we had kayaks, he was a deep sea fisherman," she added.

What's more, the doctor started to experience unusual symptoms, and three days after vaccination, small spots began to appear on Gregory Michael's feet and hands. In response, he went to the emergency room at Mount Sinai. As his blood count was not in the normal ranges, he was admitted to the ICU, his wife told Sputnik. Shortly after, he suffered a stroke and died.

Three days after vaccination, small spots began to appear on Gregory Michael’s feet and hands. In response, he went to the emergency room at Mount Sinai. As his blood count was not in the normal ranges, he was admitted to the intensive care unit, according to Heidi Neckelmann. Unfortunately, shortly after, he suffered a stroke and died.

According to Darren Caprara, director of operations at the Miami-Dade medical examiner’s office, Gregory Michael's death is the first that the county medical examiner's office has seen where a COVID-19 vaccine could have played a role.

Earlier, Carlos Palestino, the brother-in-law of Mexican doctor Karla Cecilia Perez, was paralyzed hours after receiving the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, according to reports.

There have been several anecdotal reports about patients dying after receiving the vaccine in Europe, the US and elsewhere, in both trials, and during the emergency phase of the rollout.

This trickle is from general market sell off. Bid ask is very thin. People who sold are the impatient ones shifting around. Throw this off your radar if long and hold. Max 30% downside. 2-4 times return on upside if comes out positive

The hyped vaccines do not guarantee sterilizing immunity. This is why a nasal vaccine like the one developed by ALT may be an ideal complement (possibly, to other vaccines) to abate the transmission of the virus. Otherwise the risk remains that the virus may mutate and eventually disable current vaccines' effectiveness. (a good reading is "What is sterilizing immunity and do we need it for the coronavirus?")
