Company earned $.46 last quarter and is projected to earn the same this quarter??? How can this be with increased capacity and widespread PPE shortages still. Net-net: we could have a major earnings surprise, either pre announced or regular release. Se OMI for possible effect.

No brokerage allows margin on this stock. With heavy shorting could be explosive!! All we need is a blowout earnings with guidance that orders are solid through next year and this stock will fly!!!!!

Despite the sales stress, Masonite holds a Composite Rating of 97 from IBD. That's not a perfect 99, but still very strong. The stock ranks No. 2 in its industry group, right behind fellow Canadian and fast-rising stock Alpha Pro Tech (APT). The maker of protective gear for construction and industrial markets has also become a top supplier of coronavirus-related personal protective equipment, or PPE.

This has driven Alpha Pro's EPS growth to big triple-digit percentages. Sales growth accelerated to triple digits in the second quarter. Alpha Pro shares certainly held its place among rising stocks on Monday, trading up 378% so far this year.

Just checked the dental supply catalogs (Schein, Benco) and most of the Alpha Pro tech is on back order. That means they can't produce enough product!! Should be a blowout earnings.

In his town hall, Joe Biden mentioned wearing an N95 mask before his appearance. (although he might have mistakenly said M95 - I couldn't quite tell). Anyway, at least he's familiar with it and realizes it is much better than a regular surgical type mask...............IC

Supplies for medical offices are still in very short supply. They should have a blowout earnings. Should cause a short squeeze especially if company has extra cash and continues to buy their own stock!!!
Please give an update on strength of business.

The manipulation is so funny they want to drop it to 13 maybe to buy before earnings

If this stock can earn $20 mil per year with a market cap of $200 mil what a bargain for a buyout.

    PPE SAVES LIVES !!!! I 😷😷😷😷😷

Although it will take years for researchers to understand why the pandemic was disproportionately worse in the U.S., early studies that compare different countries’ responses are finding that shortages of masks, gloves, gowns, shields, testing kits and other medical supplies indeed cost lives.

The lack of early testing was a major stumble. First, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s tests were faulty. Then there weren’t enough. The Food and Drug Administration raced to approve more tests, but without access to cheap, disposable swabs -- made almost entirely in Italy and now in very short supply -- they were useless. U.S. public health departments' worst fears were quickly realized.

Chrissie Juliano, executive director of the Big Cities Health Coalition, a forum of the largest public health departments, said the lack of available information about the actual burden of the virus “set our country’s response back by an order of magnitude we will never know.”

Meanwhile, studies in nursing homes -- in China, Washington state and across the U.S. -- found that COVID-19 cases were significantly higher in places with shortages of personal protective equipment, or PPE. Harvard Medical School professor Dr. Andrew T. Chan and colleagues found health care workers who didn’t have adequate PPE had a 30% greater chance of infection than colleagues with enough supplies. Black, Hispanic and Asian staffers had the highest risk of catching COVID-19, they found.

Yet another article addressing N95 shortages. I wonder what APT is doing to arrange for LONG TERM contracts. Which are crucial according to the gist of this piece......IC
