There is hardly any volume taking place on a daily basis in APWC.Institutions and mutual funds are not interested in buying this stock. The only buyers are private individuals that's why the volume is low and it keeps declining on a daily basis. The only hope is for APWC to be bought out by another company.

Any one understanding why Asia Pacific is down under 4 dollars a share after being up over 7 dollars ? Is this time to buy more ? I want to here from some of you all. There haven’t been any comments on here in almost 4 weeks. What’s up APWC investors !

Although I'm unsurprised by the Friday selloff, the timing was a little surprising. It came right in the middle of trading. Normally, the selloffs have come after hours. It may be a case of institutions trying to 'shake out' the retail crowd. Only one out of three indicators are showing an overbought condition - 57( stochastic momentum ). MACD was riding above the signal line as of Friday's close. RSI was neutral at 48. So, this may be the shake_out, fake_out before the next move up. APWC is one of two Taiwanese tigers in my portfolio ( the other one is the semiconductor manufacturer UMC ). It has an outstanding business model. Although APWC is small in terms of company size and market capitalization, the diversification of its product line gives it very potent scalability. I've seen many comments in the space denoting how undervalued the company is. I'm as much in agreement. Of course with matters evolving in the direction that they are for the company the valuation will certainly increase over time. APWC appears to be an item to be held for the duration. There can be no doubt that over the year that the patient investors will be rewarded. The company has already proven itself in the near term.

Disclaimer: I am a retail trader who holds a small position in the stock. There are quite a few questions regarding APWC. I initially entered the trade on the 12th @$2.62 and subsequently doubled my investment that very same day. APWC is on the NASDAQ. That same day the index had a 36-point rise or .28% increase. This was more than likely led by Tesla which for its market capitalization had a significant close; it was up 4.72 % for the day. It was a case of the rising tide lifting many boats. But this may explain the huge jump on the 12th of January. APWC has been around for approximately twenty-five years but is still growing. It's market capitalization today is still below $300 million U.S. so it still might have quite a bit of upside left. If you're wondering about whether or not that is the case, the best advice I can give is to read the charts. They give some pretty good insight to the retail trader

Very high revenues for only a market cap of $80M. Management has been around and seems to know what they are doing here. Large backlog of projects! They could have issued shares, but instead they haven’t!

Extremely undervalued. Love this stock and management. Low float and tons of cash flow! This has a chance to really run. All countries are changing things and it’s only going to boost the demand for products! Easily a $20 stock!

this one is about to break out. The Chart is screaming breakout next week. It's a good idea to buy before the $1.30 breakout, it closed at $1.28 Friday. Only 3 million public float, it should spike pretty quick with 10% volume. The share structure is just awesome. Did my DD, and they have $53 million cash on hand and 13 million shares outstanding. If you do the math, with cash on hand alone, the stock price should be at $4.07. If you include all the #$%$ets, book value is at $11.

For all the investors thinking they have already missed this one, that is not the case! Still only a $100M market cap! Could easily run up to $300M just to be on a conservative Revenue to share price ratio!

After my initial buy-in, I've set a series of buys GTC all the way down to 6.00 (7.25, 7.00, 6.75, 6.5, 6.25, 6.0) and picked up another tranch of shares on the dip! You have to recognize that consolidation is needed to load the spring, otherwise there will be leaky jumps where high profit margin holders from well below are jumping ship. Consolidation reduces that and low holders trade shares with higher price holders, and they likely hold out for higher prices (more readily than lower price holders).
