HI~~~I am LU,a Taiwanese, an employee of ASX’s Zhongli factory in Taiwan. The company recently sent a text to my cellphone asking if any friends would like to work ASX. I have been working here for 5 years and this has never happened before . I know ASX’s Zhongli factory now need more employees than before .

I think the company’s revenue and EPS are good. ASX stock will has a high chance of rising. I have bought 1,000 shares at 4.18.

I know few Netizen here , hope this information can help people gain some money

Columbine Capital and Zack's investment research give ASX an outperform rating. Also, Ford Equity Research gives ASX a buy rating and Fidelity Investments gives ASX a Very Bullish rating on it's equity summary score. Market Beat gives ASX an incredible $30 target price over the next 12 month's ! ! That is a huge upside potential that could realize fantastic gains. I hope their analyst are correct.

The sector, semiconductors isn't popular right now. But just hold thru that, it will boom again.

I think it will start to rise now. Remember semiconductors is a cyclical business. I think in 2 years or less we will have doubled our money. Also dividend is nice, just chill guys!

I'm hoping they announce a big dividend increase, that sends the stock up to 8$. That's what I'm personally hoping for.

I bought in at 4.78. That was after it hit a low of 4.46 or so but before it retested it at least once. Did I get in at a good price or did I come in too high?

This big flaw in this was they eliminated dividend. The company is fine (took on some debt to merge) but axing dividend did us all in.....

ASX is a buy at this present accumulation stage:
    Second Opinion Weekly:
“ The current technical condition for ASX is strong and the chart pattern suggests that upward momentum should continue. The stock has outperformed the market over the last 50 trading days when compared to the S&P 500. MACD-LT, an intermediate-term trend indicator, is bullish at this time. Chart formation indicates a strong rising trend. Upside momentum, as measured by the 9-day RSI indicator is very strong. The stock is in a short-term overbought condition based on a Slow % K stochastic reading of 80 or higher. Over the last 50 trading sessions, there has been more volume on up days than on down days indicating that ASX is under accumulation, which is a bullish condition. The stock is trading above a rising 50-day moving average. This validates the strong technical condition for ASX. The stock is above its 200-day moving average which is pointed up indicating that the intermediate term trend is bullish.“

So after the merger and we got 25% more shares, are the new shares time stamped with day we got them? I want to know how to figure out when it goes from short term to long term capital gains/loss. Also, how do I figure out my cost basis on the new shares?

I'm out. Broke even. Was hoping to make something, but my only loss was time and missed opportunities elsewhere. Good luck to those still holding.
