Description

Atlantia S.p.A., through its subsidiaries, engages in the construction and operation of motorways, airports and transport infrastructure, parking areas, and intermodal systems. It operates 5,000 kilometers of toll motorways in Italy, Brazil, Chile, India, and Poland. The company operates as a concessionaire for toll motorway construction and management, and for related transport services; and operates and develops Rome’s Fiumicino and Ciampino airports and carries out activities linked to airport management. It also provides designing, project management, and monitoring, as well as routine maintenance services for road networks and airport infrastructures; and systems integration, hardware and software maintenance, customer services, and consultancy in the field of free-flow electronic tolling systems. In addition, the company produces and broadcasts traffic information for the motorway network; and operates Viacard and Telepass tolling systems on Italian motorways. Further, it supplies and operates road tolling, charging, control, and monitoring systems for urban areas, car parks, and interports. Additionally, it offers advertising, PRM, property management, telecommunications, car park management, general and administrative, electricity production, airport screening and security, cleaning and maintenance, handling, technical engineering, and steel trading services, as well as information systems and equipment for the control and automation of traffic and road safety; and engages in the acquisition and management of investments. Atlantia S.p.A. was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Rome, Italy.
