an overvalued company performs reverse splits to kill taxpayers I don't know where they get the numbers to judge by the number of reverse splits they should have 5 dates in the hands of the owners so their value should be 2000 per share however it is listed on otc with a value higher than 2 dollars and it has been like this for several years how can we disrespect investors like this and nobody does anything about it

People you're not looking at the financial structure of this company. I have owned this stock and will not fall for it again. This company actually is valued at well over $200 million when you add the preferred shares which have priority over the common shares.

ABRAXAS has filed permits for two new wells to drill in the Caprito 98-83 unit nears Pyote Texas.

    Let the drilling begin...

    Happy Trading.

Market Cap is 40million currently. I calculate true market cap to be 2Billion $ at 80$/bbl and 3$/mmscf. we are looking at a 40-80$/share company in my opinion.

I am not giving investment advice , I am a Petroleum Engineer and have studies their production and SEC 10K reports. Do you own due diligence before investing in any Stock especially OTC.

Watson has a history of developing fields and selling at good prices to fund other fields. What is the Bakken investment worth?. Let's say $250 million especially with infrastructure in place including a top rig. Debt is now $185 million. What was notable in the announcement was the new investment in properties in the Permian. With debt up these properties must have grown above the approx. 10,500 acres announced a few months ago.
Also not mentioned was the Eagleford investments. What would prevent refocusing on this field as an add-on to the great investment in the Permian? The possibilities are endless especially with Bob Watson who may want to ride into the sunset.

"The game's in the refrigerator, the door's closed, the light's out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard and the jello's jiggling." (Chick Hearn, late great Lakers play-by-play announcer)

13D/A filed today by Angelo Gordon.

"In addition, counsel delivered a proposal from AGES for a pre-arranged reorganization of the Issuer under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The proposed restructuring would involve (i) converting the total claims under the Second Lien Facility, including accrued and unpaid interest into 100% of the equity of the reorganized Issuer..."

"a cash settlement pool for existing equity holders that do not object to the plan and, for certain equity holders that are qualified institutional buyers, a warrant election in lieu of cash."

Attended a SPE event in Dallas last night and out a few things. A flowing barrel of oil is selling for $35,000.AXAS produces around 7,000 barrels of oil per day. Their 11,500 acres in the permian would be valued at $22,500 per based on the Felix buyout after adjusting for their production value .AXAS's 6 DUCs and remaining undrilled locations and refracs in the Bakken would $40 million. So the production is worth $245 million, the Permian is worth $258 Million plus the bakken asset and misc is worth $50 million. less the debt of about $180 million after recent asset sales I get over $2 a shares in value.

How does a company that hasn't release their Q4 earnings from last year and is not in compliance with the SEC, have a 40% increase in share prices overnight?

Actually a pretty good buying opportunity. if you buy at sub 1.15 now and the stock is back up to $2 in two years, that's a good return. I've seen this with AXAS before.

Separately, Abraxas recently closed on the sale of its non-op Bakken assets for $15.5 million plus the assumption of an estimated $5.4 million in outstanding AFEs. These non-operated assets were located outside of Abraxas core operated holdings of approximately 3,500 net acres in McKenzie County, ND. The divestiture represented approximately 5 percent of the Company’s current Bakken daily production. Abraxas is continuing discussions with parties interested in acquiring operated properties and with parties interested in acquiring a non-operated position on a portion of the Company’s leases in the Williston Basin. No assurances can be provided regarding the outcome of these discussions
