Interesting article in which General Mark Miley speaks about learning from history. He stated he has read Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin, but is not a Communist. General George Patton is quoted in many places to have said: "Rommel, you &6%%$%, I read your book" (meaning he learned from history, helping him defeat Rommel in Africa in WWII. The article is about, so called, "Race Theory", but is simply as Milly described it, history.

looks like we're heading into the post covid era, bae climbing back to where it should be. Was more than 6 pre lockdown, don't see why it won't get back there soon.

With the army force cutting down on personnel and the government going towards a tech army, I can see a lot of investment in this sector for 2021.
    Bullish

The company received an extra boost this week with news that Britain is about to resume arms shipments to Saudi Arabia. These were temporarily stopped over concerns about their possible use in Yemen. Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s biggest defence spenders and a major buyer of BAE Systems’s revenues-spinning Typhoon fighter jets.
    Bullish

I am looking for a different job out side BAE my plant Manager had our engineer go to a local hardware store to purchase some washer and bolts to install into our Navy Product because we ran out. But these have to meet certifications.

government spending on defence is unlikely to decrease. The company suspended its final 2019 dividend, in response to the disruption caused by the pandemic. However, BAE has access to a £2bn revolving credit facility, is expected to complete two acquisitions, and is focussed on increasing orders. I think its share price will recover.

Bought a few below £5 yesterday, it's now £5.15. Keep it going, I'll profit from this if it kills me! Can't believe it reached around £6.5 at one point and I hung on for higher. Next thing, down to £4. So what's the lesson learnt? Polish my crystal ball, lol.

I am simply waiting for the railgun, that will be huge, not only for the stock price, or vice versa:

Looks like some savvy acquisitions are doing me some good here. This might continue rising slowly. I hope!

I am unsure about BA.L. The military have long purchase cycles, often 10 years forward. USA, and UK are big spenders on equipment.
