BOTH Earnings and Revenue surpasses estimates for Q2. That is great news for everyone owning Bayer stock. Very undervalued. It beats its competition by a landslide on every value metric there is: P/E (TTM) + P/E (FWD), PEG Ratio, EV/Sales, EV/EBITDA, P/B, Price/Cash Flow, Dividend Yield (TTM) etc.

Ray Dalio is shorting this. Will the glyphosate settlements hurt Bayer significantly?

More of the same hegemony of the US Government upon business affairs of German companies -- what we're seeing here is a very clear case of state-sponsored "activism from the bench" or "justice" American style. See also Deutsche Bank and the disproportionate and targeted discrimination against German ownership of US companies and/or garnering of US footprint by German companies on American soil.

Hold on to Bayer. At some point I would think they will either simply spin off the Monsanto entity and have it go BK. The US taxpayer can then flip the bill for the tax write-off that will inevitably ensue. Or alternatively, Bayer will drag out the proceedings in court for as long as they can, which they should do, since the EPA has founds on several occasions that glyphosate is non-carcinogenic and is now being brought by the US Government to heel.

I know lots of farmers that died from cancer they all used GOM/ glyphosate seeds. One was a crop duster and a farmer all died of cancer....

Does BG have a long-lingering grudge against the EU for when they first went against Microsoft 20 years ago? Funny, how he wield so much influence at the WHO and precisely this organization should be the one to haphazardly and unjustly condemn glyphosate as presumably carcinogenic? Odd, those connections, aren't they?

    Dear BAYRY,
Thank you for the dividend in May. I just wanted you to know that understand about the Ex-Dividend discount (price drop) but I also wanted to add an additional thanks for making up for it, plus some, afterward. I'm sorry about all that you are going through with Monsanto lawsuit, but we all know that it's no surprise. I'm just glad that your value is based on something that we all need (food) so I can count on you to keep my seat as we go to the moon together.

    Alongside,
    Bob

P.S. I love your all history chart. I cant wait for you to make up for that crazy drop in price when people realize that you feed the world. I am pretty sure this is what love feels like.

Warren Buffett taught investors: look for a shareholder friendly company with honest capable management who is experiencing a large but correctible problem and take a meaningful position” a long time ago when Philip Morris was being sued by the states attorney general and the stock sank to 19 and nobody wanted it. Yet they faithfully paid the dividend. If you were smart, you followed buffets advice and bought big. They settled with the AGs issuing tobacco bonds and you know the rest of the story

I have invested in this company without doing any research since it seamed it would put themselves together after the roundup settlement but now I am not sure. I would really like some others to share their thoughts about this company.

Vaccine manufacturing greenhorn Bayer to make 160M doses of CureVac's COVID-19 shot

In its nearly 160-year history, Bayer has never produced vaccines for humans. But the COVID-19 pandemic is changing that.

As part of a recently penned collaboration, Bayer will help manufacture German compatriot CureVac’s mRNA-based coronavirus vaccine, CVnCOV, in addition to aiding in R&D, regulatory affairs, supply chain management and potential marketing operations, Stefan Oelrich, Bayer’s pharma chief, said in a press briefing Monday.

I think this is a great buy at these prices. Sure, if a unfavorable decision comes from the US regarding the Monsanto trial, we could go down to around 40 but if we get a favorable decision we'll be in the 70s soon. And then there's a decent dividend on top of that. Imagine having a blue chip company in your portfolio that you are 70-80% up and it pays a 10% dividend one year from now. Highly diversified and future proof. I'm buying as much as I can.
