Last chance to buy this week before the ex-dividend date on March 12th (6% dividend per year). This stock can easily recover to pre-Covid levels and the dividend just sweetens the deal. Your money is also safeguarded from a large market correction in this stock. Get a 5G leader in your portfolio before the next bull run (beyond 70$/share?)

If this growth can continue, BCE will tie the all time high at $48.83 after an increase of only 10.3% from right now, March 4, 2021. Come on BCE! Get more of those cell towers up for the people!

People, Telecoms are not growth stocks. If you are looking for 50% returns you are in the wrong place. Buy this for the dividend and nothing else. The thing about Telecoms is everyone needs the service, it is recession proof. They didnt dip as hard in the pandemic and they wont rocket up either.

6%+ dividend in a blue chip is a great thing, buy it for what it is.

This is a safe stock to park money. Exdiv date (6% dividend per year) coming up in about 2 weeks. And of course it’s still at early covid levels! Hold this for the long term and make around 20% by EOY from recovery and dividends
    Bullish

Can’t believe this price. What a gift. Over 6% ex dividend In March. Smart money should be pouring into Bell especially with uncertain market.

How do they pay dividends. Checks? Or does it directly come on app. Wealthsimple or questrade?

I have added I don’t believe the The value of the dividend to be paid to shareholders of record on the 12th is reflected in the price of the stock.

Any Predictions on what it will be at on the week of the dividends

Any idea how BCE shares would respond in:
    1. Higher interest rates, and
    2. Inflationary period...
Any longterm shareholders out there to answer...

Take heed of under-20 p/e stocks (staples, utilities, pipes with big dividends). The doordash, ABNB, game, amc, posh aren’t investments, they’re gambles. Long money always beats short.

Trust me I work at bell, technician, They are making moves to save money everywhere. Operating cost going down and they are investing it an new areas with fibre with 90% take rate. They have cut any jobs and tightening operations. I buy shares every pay period and before long it will be back to .65

I don't see dividend in the stats. Anyone know the current yield and payout ratio? tia

If you thought a 6 percent dividend yield wasn't good enough, BCE's free cash flow yield is 7.9 percent. That's what we call gold in the finance industry.
