Private equity behemoth Blackstone is acquiring controversial San Francisco mobile advertising startup Vungle, which reached a settlement with its co-founder Zain Jaffer in connection with the deal. Although Vungle and Blackstone did not disclose the purchase price, it was valued at $750 million, according to VentureBeat. For Vungle, the transaction brings to a close controversy that enveloped the company in 2017.
