Nothing against BHP but analysts say it is a buy so it goes up. They have TTM earnings of .93. On the same day Vale also a miner without the Oil baggage has TTM of .88 and trades at 24% of the value of BHP. Either BHP is way over valued or Vale is way undervalued? Which is it or is it a little of both.
Looking for an entry for next leg up Technical strong buy at stoxline, target: 41.63.
Ask and research around by googling how many shareholders of companies Elliott attacks are happy ? Not many but Elliott and they might not even be . What they do may be best explained is harassment of shareholders sending mailings daily for weeks , calling daily despite being told not too for longer then any sane group would go on . References you wont find if you research what you will find I bet is quick buck corperate raiding and the best assets taken private . They don't benefit shareholders . Spend a hour or so googling and post articles on past companies like compuware , etc . See what people say and look at what happened .
The BOD need to step in and fire BHP CEO for overproducing and giving away shareholder value and assets
If Elliot owned 41% of BHP I would understand the input. However, they do not so they should keep their pie holes shut.
The upside potential for BHP just got a whole lot more interesting. Do you guys find it difficult to know when to buy or sell something? I prefer to get my stocks from awesomestoc-ks.

This should be the tops for mining stocks because they have come back too fast and too far. The reason being that price stability remains a big questions for each and every commodity, today. In the last 2 to 3 decades we saw severe and consistent lower interest rates. This benefited the markets and speculators entered this markets and maintained price stability even when there was no real significant demand. Ultimately, since 2011 show me the demand picture and price sealing brought some reality to these markets despite a huge inflationary climate FED sat tight on zero interest rates to support speculators and distorting decades of discipline in the markets. So now the questions is will the speculators be willing to risk on and off and keep boosting the stocks even when demand is mediocre to lower.
Mining stocks and generally the over all market has to go down globally. The questions where will the billionaires and easy money multi-millionaires invest? That is why I feel that before the distortion of any more investing discipline takes place the FED's should start raising interest harder and faster.
Why is this crashing ah? Mine closure?
