    Why BigCommerce Stock Is Soaring Today

    Shares of e-commerce platform provider BigCommerce Holdings (NASDAQ: BIGC) were higher by more than 29% as of mid-session Friday following Thursday's release of strong third-quarter numbers. For the three-month span ending in September, e-commerce support outfit BigCommerce lost $21.3 million on revenue of $59.3 million. The top line was up 49% year over year, while the operating loss of $7.2 million ($0.16 per share) from the year-ago quarter was essentially cut in half.
