Description

Boreal Metals Corp., a mineral exploration company, acquires and explores for base and precious metals in Sweden and Norway. It primarily explores for zinc, copper, silver, gold, cobalt, and nickel deposits. The company owns interests in the Gumsberg VMS project located in the Bergslagen mining district of southern Sweden; Adak VMS project in Skellefteå mining district in north Sweden; Guldgruvan project located near the town of Los, Sweden; and Njuggträskliden and Mjövattnet projects in Skellefteå mining area in northern Sweden. It also holds interests in the Burfjord iron oxide copper gold project located in Alta, Norway; Tynset VMS project in the Røros mining district of central Norway; and Modum project located to the west of Oslo, Norway. The company was formerly known as European Ferro Metals Ltd. and changed its name to Boreal Metals Corp. in November 2016. Boreal Metals Corp. was incorporated in 2013 and is headquartered in North Vancouver, Canada.
