  • Well, it gives nice dividends. Otherwise I would have sold it long time ago.
  • A lot of people miss that BP pays out almost half the annual dividend in new shares with their DRIP, diluting the stock at the rate of 3% per year They have issues $6 billion in new shares over the last couple of years
  • Big oil company with an incompetent management !!! Recently many companies have changed their top management based on mismanagement. Is'nt it time to change CEO and top management for the shareholders?
  • back to 1991-1994. BP paid 0.3x4=1.2 dividend. BP price at that time is around 14-18. The dividend was pretty high at that time. The oil price at that time was $14. If they can do it at that time, why now? I have heard British government retire funds is in it.

  • Yeah, nothing against this company in general but I'm selling. I really didn't want to, but I just have a bad feeling about oil heading back to the low 30's/20's and this company cannot make money with that. The oil markets are freefalling into total disaster and I don't see anything reversing the trend other than a new war in the mideast. Seems like the lower it goes, people just produce more trying to get value out of it while they can.
  • relax, they are hitting on all cylinders, in the face of weak oil
