BRY >>> LINN showed that this company can be bought yet it's now languishing again, even with decent cash flows and monster dividends coming soon. Somebody should move in and buy it again in double digits as it's really too small to flourish as a stand-alone company in this tough California regulatory climate. IMO Any thoughts?

Nice. I'll take a $0.62 Div all quarter long. 2 more $0.40-$0.55 Divs for the year and we are good to go.

I guess one can feel good but not ecstatic about holding a position here.

Short interest update... a decent increase (16%) from last update... so this "will be" a good tail wind - when the selling dries up.

I just spent my divy money and picked up some more shares. Ya - wish this was last week and that I could've gotten them in the low $7's... oh well.

Variable Dividend "for the quarter" will be $0.56 not bad for a $10 stock.. and even better for a $9 stock.

Oxy 3 billion buyback now. Take this company for 2.5 billion including debt.

Conference call was brief and much like a joke. However, I am hoping more shares will be purchased or already have since end of quarter.

Short interest update.... nice... small increase in the latest short-interest, but yet the share price has gone up (I added closing share price on the short-interest reporting day). At this price - I wonder if the shorts are upping the ante on their bets... or just taking a wait and see attitude - clearly the nice dividend and potential future dividends could prove to be good headwinds for their positions. Dare I say that I'm happy with $90 Brent? Also BRY has some potential tail winds with CC and solar...and C&J Well Services. Is the new process that they are developing for Thermal Diatomite worthy of mention?

Buyers paying above Brent price in kern County. If I got it right,Berry getting around 112 to 114 a barrel today unhedged depending on gravity.

Roughly at estimates but dividend is quite sumptuous. Paid over 10 dollars for buybacks on avg.

If they are a cash generating machine even hedges at 70 and nat gas at 4, lets pay off some debt and lock in oil prices near $100. Then we can get back to $11

They have had ample time to buy in the 7 range. Hope they had dry powder left. Now hedge in 90s and consider more buybacks and debt reduction. Variable dividend can come later with lower shares outstanding

Ex dividend Friday? Who can tell about the oil market twists and turns on a frequent scale. Traders who are smart are making much and they decide what theme is for the day. But one most focus on the spr, lowest in 40 years , and release ends in 2 months. The traders will begin to focus on that and the coming winter. We really don't know how truthful the EIA is with their supply and demand forecasts. Biden and his underhanded cronies may be at work.

The short sellers are having a lot of fun with this. Seems like there's a rotation shift out of energy and the buyers have taken a break.
Gosh I hope BRY is just buying this u.

Scratching my head here. Talk about irrational. Day low of 7.47. Is this going to 6's?? This makes no sense at all. President FJB just said high gas prices will continue 'as long as it takes' to defeat Russia, what? I want some of that Crazy Sauce.
