BUD still trading at < 1/2 it’s Jun 2015 peak ... the 80’s boomlet’s affection for liquid loaves of bread (craft beer) is inversely proportional to their expanding waists, reversing the craft boom and returning lower cal options to the fore. BUD is well positioned with premium low cal beer alternatives as well as low cal hard seltzer offerings. All they need is a marketing team that’s not resting on historic laurels which no longer retain the same cred they once did.

I don’t know, folks. My ‘break-even point’ is just shy of $72. Don’t know if we will get there. The positive posts (reopening, stadiums, etc) are all mighty fine and dandy. However, a few reliable firms are now lowering their earnings estimates. One is now advising ‘sell.’ I am not going to sell, just yet. Will be watching this, very closely.

Guys we are going to experience a good return. Here in UK none essential shops are reopened today. Outdoor meetings are allowed.

US alcohol consumption went up almost 10% during the pandemic. Brewers are being hit at the supply lines, not at the consumer end. This too shall end. Busch is doing a big push on all kinds of new seltzers this spring. My brother in law owns a major liquor store off the interstate and they have like 20% of the entire cooler. Countless seltzers. They are putting domestic beers on warm shelves just to prioritize the seltzer craze. Busch is coming for a bigger slice of the pie this summer.

Will BUD make a strategic investment in TLRY similar to STZ's investment in CGC?

Good morning longs. Been going thru alot of personal stuff so haven't been posting. Did want to update that I did buy shares on Friday. Made 2 buys, cost average for the buys was 57.55. I'm sticking with the long term conviction behind buying bud stock. They are still the largest beer brewer in the world bottom line. View this investment similar to when I bought CAT many years ago. Investing in the largest producer in sector LONG term has always done very well for me. We will be back to 70s again soon, and honestly post Corona this should be trading at $100+

The least shareholder focused company around. No accountability for Brito, who should have been removed years ago. Marketing is pre-historic. An across the board management change is needed.

I know this has been frustrating to hold for many. But if your time horizon is long I don’t think you can go wrong buying in the 50s. Still a solid piece to have in your portfolio long term. It’s been frustrating short term but this will bounce back at some point.

I'm back, haven't posted in a long time. Listened to earnings call, and overall I like what I heard for the long term. I feel we are starting to gradually get back to the early stages of normalcy concerning the world with coronavirus. I honestly can't believe we are down this low, but part of it is an overall market sell-off. I sold a short position I had in smh that I played recently for a very nice short term gain today. I'm about to take some profits and buy some more bud shares. Great opportunity to add today. Long and strong, many missed the last dip when it went under 60 several months ago, dont miss this one :)

Why is there such low institutional ownership? Is it accurate? I wonder if the data is accurate on foreign stocks such as this. Seems like this should be a lot higher with the reopening.
