Barloworld Limited distributes products that provide integrated rental, fleet management, product support, and logistics solutions in South Africa, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, rest of Europe, and internationally. The company operates through Equipment, Handling, Automotive, and Logistics divisions. It offers short-term vehicle rental services; long-term rental and fleet management services to operators of passenger and commercial vehicles; and bulk used vehicle disposal solutions and other digital services. The company also sells new, used, and demo cars through multi-national dealerships, as well as online under the Audi, BMW, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Lexus, Isuzu, Mazda, Volkswagen, and Mercedes Benz brands; and operates service centers. In addition, it operates as a dealer for the Cat construction, mining, and industrial machines; rents Cat machines; supplies power train, engines, and hydraulics to the mining and civil engineering customers; and provides after-sales solutions through service centers. Further, the company distributes lift and forklift trucks, and warehousing equipment under the HYSTER and UTILEV brands to the automotive, food and beverage, pulp and paper, manufacturing, mining, shipping, and agricultural industries; and tractors, combine harvesters, self-propelled sprayers, planters, balers and other haymaking equipment, and tillage equipment under the Massey Ferguson, Challenger, and Sunflower brands, as well as deals in premium used equipment. Additionally, it offers warehousing and distribution, inventory, supply chain consulting and management, freight forwarding, road transportation, transport management, and supply chain software planning services, as well as replacement parts; sells engines and generators in the marine, electric power, industrial engine, and rental market; and rents Cat generators, dewatering pumps, and lighting masts. Barloworld Limited was founded in 1902 and is based in Sandton, South Africa.
