you have more chance of earning money holding an airline which at least has domestic flights. sell while u can before it goes back to $3 lol
  • A
In the long term, the share will rise again and make shareholders happy. Strong airline that has a good name and reputation.
  • b
Hk-sg travel bubble but I heard that you will still need to be tested for covid19 before you get onto the plane and upon arriving in hk.
  • L
Is the bubble gonna burst again?!
  • W
any moment crash to the $3.60 when covid19 re-emerges. Warlen Buffat is negative on airlines, for domestic, let alone there will be very very very reduced international flights. SIA will sink sink sink ...
  • s
I just sold off SIA due to significantly increase of infected cases to 750k per day. I will come back when it reach $3 plus. Goodbye

Never bet against SQ, it is the best experience and leader in every aspect of air travel. Hold it for the long haul and reap rewards. It won’t be long before it rallies past $6

No one is safe until herd immunity is achieved globally and Covid-19 vaccination will take us up to 2022! Airlines including SIA are still burning cash and it may be prudent to sit tight for the time being.
  • C
It should head back to $3 very soon...
  • W
plunge to below $3 with covid variant wave

The airline industry around the world took a major hit with the pandemic. When the world is rid of this pandemic, one of the few stronger airlines in the industry will be SINGY. It should gain market share and generate more profits in the long run. Hopefully, the dividend will get reinstated by 2022. God bless and stay well.

The most serious problem is that Singapore has no domestic routes. All foreign tourists have to be quarantined for 14 days, and this phenomenon will not improve until 2022.
Reply to break-even point will not be until 2024 at the earliest.

Is it too late to buy in now?
  • J
Extremely frothy stocks. A quarterly loss of $300 million. Passenger aircraft carried only 5% of pre-Covid-19. Government funds can only support it for two years, but it will take five years for passenger traffic to recover.
  • t
This will be back to $10 before u know it. This is literally supported by gov?
  • s
$10 soon. Pls remark my word
  • F
#1 Airline of the World year after year. Flag ship airline of one of the most incredible and efficient countries in the world and sustain by a government who Charlie Munger admires for their amazing success. This is a long term. Good luck
  • M
Overhyped and overvalued. This is an airline losing billions due to oil price hedging and lack or a domestic market. Its only life line is the gov. Things like a fully vaccinated crew is good but means nothing without the resumption of air travel. Good for trading buy, because people just love SIA as brand but if you are looking for a SGX stock with fundamentals and real value, avoid.
