ha ha- everything I'm finding states $5 per pound of raw hemp- not $500- with the average farmer making between $300-1800 per acre......$500/lb. - get real folks......if it was $500/lb- EVERYONE would have hemp plants in their backyard. Anyone find anything different? Please share your findings........

Am I reading this right they are going to get 35 million off 50 acres of weed. Native American Corporation (FSO NAC), announce the initial harvesting of approximately 60 acres of industrial hemp on San Joaquin Sovereign Tribal Fee land MBS, California. The 2017 CBIS/FSO NAC MBS001 harvesting is a two-phase project, the first phase of the harvesting will be approximately 15-acres that is underway now, it is expected to be completed by the end of this month. Phase two will be the remaining 45 acres and is expected to be completed by the end of September 2017.

"I am very pleased with the progress of our Native American initiatives; our Partners are second to none. They know the landscape, they know the process, they get it, and so do we. The industrial hemp commercial research scheduled for the 2017 CBIS/FSO NAC MBS001 harvest is extensive, initial research targets include extraction for medicines targeting critical ailments, wholesale distribution to physicians and licensed wholesale manufacturers, extraction research and development for fuel, construction materials, clothing, paper, food, vehicle production, and biomass soil, the industries are many and the numbers are immense. The initial 60-acres of the 2017 CBIS/FSO NAC MBS001 harvest is expected to come in potentially around 70,000-pounds, with raw wholesale numbers that make sense around $500.00 per lb., plus factoring in high demands and high quality can create a considerable increase in value for the initiative," stated Mr. Raymond C. Dabney, Cannabis Science's President, Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founder.

The 2017 CBIS/FSO NAC MBS001 project is a total of 250 acres and is part of Cannabis Science's previously-announced Native American Sovereign Economic Development Initiative. Since the Initiative launch, the Company has over 3,500 acres under contract for economic development for Universities and site services including, laboratory facilities for research & development. Other key fundamentals depending on the demographics of the area include housing, apartments, and dormitories, as well as the required retail services based on area demographics such as restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, clinics/pharmacies, and retail strip malls.

Reading through the comments here seems to be a lot of bad things to be said. Surely you guys are not dumb enough to short a five cent stock in an emerging industry that could gather attention at any given moment by any given blog or mag or even just a few words spoken on the tv?

Mike why do you even bother? If you don't like this company so much then just leave or did you short again and now are very worried bout your money again or are you a stalker of others and just need attention!! It's old !!

So in the late AMENDED 10K filing- it turns out Dabney is NOT YOUR SAVIOR by offering his "personal shares" for gift shares- in the filing you will see that he tried to just plain issue more shares to give away and FINRA STOPPED HIM FROM DOING IT. FINRA is the top market policing agency folks- they don't let convicted crooks like Dabney continue ripping off the public and line their pockets.

Here's a troubling statement from the 10k filing- also released today:

"The Company is working with its accountants to prepare and file overdue federal tax returns for 2008 through 2016, which are anticipated to be completed and filed in fiscal 2017."

9 YEARS of PAST DUE returns?????? Oh boy...........
