10Q out. Company bought back 708,426 shares at $5.12. Considering each share is worth $6.50 in cash, not a bad deal for those of us still holding. I'm buying more on Monday!
I hope you folks realize that CCUR is about to do a 1 for 3000 reverse split. If you own less than 3000 shares in any account you will be paid $3.06 for those shares. After the reverse split the company is going to delist. There will only be a little under 3000 shares remaining after the reverse split.
Basically, they are about to steal shares from hundreds of shareholders who have 2,999 shares or fewer at a discount as a result of the aviation "losses", which may not turn out quite as bad as their "worst-case" projections. There will be (ex) shareholder action at some point because this is dirty dealing.
Two more market days to buy for the dividend. No dividend to those who buy on Monday. Price action says no one cares about the 12 cent dividend since it will be their last one paid.
I probably should get out of this stock but over the last few months I've been following CCUR's investment in SEAC. I think they got in around $1.50/share. Of course, I think CCUR is underwater in its investment in HCHC, so need to balance the good with the bad.
After 2 hours, today's trading volume is 7 shares.
These guys are serious about shareholder value!
Profits! I am astounded! If this continues, I would like be wrong in a good way. If a dividend could return down the road later this year then I will be totally astounded, but atleast be a happy camper after the last two years.
Quarter results out! I am not sure if a loss of profit based on my reading. Seems like some smoke and mirror accounting along with possible unwarranted expenses. Anyone have an opinion on this release? Or am I just writing myself?
NASDAQ delisting tomorrow, probably will trade on the OTC BB. Looks like Singer blew his purchases to the nth degree. Shortly he'll be able to buy CCUR in the 4's IMO.
Nice! A $0.50 special dividend.
See $CCUR long thesis here (authors see >100% upside)...
Buyback demonstrates "undervalue" of the shares at this price; also Singer has about 300,000 more shares to get through Put options which expire around March 16. Will be interesting to watch how that stock is gathered.
Any thoughts about this quarterly earnings results?? I don't understand how they spent over $4million on administrative expenses?? Are we just fooling ourselves holding on to this or will we get something better down the road??
If Company is buying back stock at these levels, cash value of remaining outstanding shares goes up siginficantly
Although we no longer have any semblance of an ongoing business, we seen to have retained most of our very expensive management and BOD. What this mgt is managing is a mystery and what out BOD's responsibilities are is also a mystery.
The only concrete aspect I can see is the frightening cash flow to support our massive leadership team!
MLNK just bought a profitable company to take advantage of its NOLS With the tax bill moving quickly to pass , CCUR might pull the trigger soon ..
what's going on with ccur?
I'm confused. Anyone able to comment? I thought shareholders under 3,000 shares were supposed to receive $3.06 per share. Why has that number changed? Link to the SEC filing -
