Even in the midst of this spectacular rally, CEF continues to trade at a discount to NAV. Sprott has got to get the word out to prospective investors on his funds. This will help eliminate the discount and move us back to the days (over a decade ago) when we enjoyed a premium to NAV.

For those of you who have not yet purchased CEF, buying at a discount should be enticing.

I own just a few hundred shares of CEF common shares thru my broker TDAmeritrade. If I simply do nothing (don't vote my shares or fill out any other forms), will these shares still be tradeable on the markets? Will my CEF shares just be converted into the new Sprott shares and continue to be held by my broker? Lastly, will the Sprott shares be marginable like the CEF shares? Any help greatly appreciated.

Yahoo finance will no longer give me historical prices for cef.to, it shows every day closing at 21.87. It doesn't do this for other stocks I follow. Any ideas?

It's been 8 or 9 years since CEF traded for more than a day or two at a premium to NAV. I think that is about to change. It is an exciting time to be long metals. Silver has possibly turned the corner, so we can expect the gold/silver ratio to fall. There is much political uncertainty in the world and unprecedented fiscal stimulus. The real yield on the 10 year treasuries is about -0.50% which portends much higher levels in gold and silver.

I compose this comment 30 minutes prior to the end of FMOC meeting. Gold is presently up about $10/oz. Get ready for the Pavlovian, knee-jerk response at 2:00 P.M. to drive the price of metals into deep negative territory. I've watched this 20 years and it is always the same reaction.

I hope I am wrong this time. In any event, gold will recover by tomorrow or the next day.

Gold and silver are being driven down to “shake the tree”... get the weak hands to sell so the big boyz can pick up cheaper shares. It’s still the place to be. It’s either that or cash. And cash is dead money.

How will the proposed “arrangement “ with Sprott affect the liquidity and ease to buy and sell units as compared to common stock, as we have now?
