I started following "lionstock-aletrs” (Gooogle it - off course without any space or dash in between the words) and their notifications are better than anyone else.

Looks like they will likely be tagged with Murray Energy post-retiree liabilities. Probably $150-$200M.

It’s nice to see some current posts here. Well, they were here. How long will mine last? I’d like to add what I know about the recent price action. Several days ago, a signal was emitted to buy CEIX for a target price of $17.00. Posts here suggest that Blackrock could be selling their 4 million shares or at least an expected large portion of it. That will take some time at the current daily average volume. We also saw the recent drop from over $14 to $12 and then to $11 as the alleged selling came in. Are those who are aware of that signal able to profit from this with a quick 40% trade (12 to 17)? I expect the next earnings report to be critical in this play. A similar play was made with Valiant Pharmaceuticals back in late 2017: 14 down to 10 then gapped back to 14 at earnings with a subsequent two-month trend to 23. Elegant and sneaky. CEIX has less bad vibes than Valiant had, and it’s mainly the selling pressure, if true, that creates the opportunity.

I think part of the reason this got hammered yesterday was anti-carbon sentiment coming out of Davos.

Anyone on here? Looking at taking a chance with CEIX or ARCH. Their balance sheets look very good. I see why analysts like them, but I understand the headwinds in the industry. Seems like the industry has consolidated enough. I see this as tobacco 10 years ago, and they are doing very well still.
Any feedback greatly appreciated. I'd like to buy some puts for protection, but not enough activity to buy any.

CEIX could probably have lost 80+% of its value over the last year without paying its CEO $2MM+. Wonder what positive he brought to the table.that makes him worth so much.
