It's rare to look at a fund and think "This is a freak" and not mean it in a good way. Clearbridge, and the entire fund family is definitely a freak of royal class. From their own description on the Franklin Templeton web page describing their etf's: "You may have to pay more money to trade the ETF?s shares". So, they want you to buy and not sell. Kind of says I hate you, pay me. "...Shareholders may pay more than net asset value when they buy Fund shares and receive less than net asset value when they sell those shares...". What the everlasting #$%$?"This ETF will provide less information". So they hate people that would gift them their money so much they plan to lie to them by misinforming and deception. It also implies the fund family did not get over f*ing up horribly for years and now wants to punish anyone who would pull money from their funds running for the hills because they are a f*-up fund family. They intend to lie to their customers. "The price you pay to buy ETF shares on an exchange may not match the value of the ETF?s portfolio". Now, this is as f*ed up as much as possible. I almost want to invest just to launch a lawsuit while formally complaining to the sec. In court, this statement will be the first discussed. It's is not legal to straight up lie to investors about what a person buys and normally funds do their best not get caught misleading."The differences between this ETF and other ETFs may also have advantages. By keeping certain information about the ETF secret, this ETF may face less risk that other traders can predict or copy its investment strategy. This may improve the ETF?s performance. If other traders are able to copy or predict the ETF?s investment strategy, however, this may hurt the ETF?s performance." When you look at the history of these funds and see it's massive mistakes over and over you got to wonder why they are so proud of their history. Rarely do you see a fund openly tell the world how they really are when they suc% this bad. I got to admire their massive brass balls. From the description I got to think their management came from boiler rooms.
