Remember Kirkland & Ellis representing CHK to give 140% of Company to BEN & Major Banks & Funds? If you were Vested Bondholder or Shareholder who lost everything-- despite Fraud alleged vs. CHK at Trial-- you remember K&E. Today WSJ Editorial Opinion Page exposes K&E. Header is: YOU WON YOUR CASE. YOU'RE FIRED." Sub-Header: "Kirkland & Ellis tells Paul Clement to dump his gun-rights clients" Just one snippet from 10-paragraph article: ""When it comes to core constitutional rights versus corporate retainers that finance summer homes in the Hamptons, the Constitution is a second-class citizen."

Harold Hamm just made an offer in the amount of $70/share to take CLR private. This amount is considered low by the market, but is interesting considering Hamm just hired two former CHK employees.

Corruption at it best , just one more brick knocked out of the wall of democracy as a corrupt company is enabled to steal assets of rightful owners, the US financial system is Based on rule of Law and Trust, The system has reached its breaking point and Chesapeake Energy has helped to destroy the Trust! Del Osso and present and past executives have engorged them selves in the most fraudulent corruption and theft. This company is on the same level as smash and grab gangs and thieves stealing from shipping containers. If this is how you measure success enjoy the destruction of the USA and your stolen assets!

Where there is smoke there is fire...any hedging at anywhere near the prices listed by Robert for now and going into next year is unacceptable...I do not trust CHK CEO....dividend is still way to low as well...I am out.

Nick Dell'Osso was on CNBC's Worldwide Exchange this morning. Dell'Osso says his stock is "really undervalued in the market," although "it's one of the biggest natural gas players in America," according to Brian Sullivan. Gee, I wonder why it is undervalued?

An epic battle between the shorts and management is now underway. Management bought back 4.8% of the outstanding shares in the last 30 days. This will increase the q2 dividend by 5%. The quarter is almost over and my model shows a q2 dividend of between 3.06 and 3.27, depending on what assumptions I use. Annualized that's 15% at 83.

I just came back here to look for PEGGY’s post. Here I also found that this person P G posting, why are you so negative as though you are so afraid of what Peggy said is true? For your information what Peggy said is 100% true. I was CHK shareholder since 2013 until it went bankrupt and I lost more than $75,000. I received letter from CHK stated that I will receive pro data shares and warrant but so far I haven’t seen either. (I still have this letter). I understand this things takes time. Please See Blackberry shareholders recently awarded $165 millions after 9 years of waiting since CEO left the company.
Again why are you P G so angry and negative on this subject?

with the announced share buyback and recent dividend this is now yielding 23% (half of that in dividend) !!! at those prices. Chesapeake is still hedged so near term price actions really doesn't effect it. Longer term futures are still very very attractive relative to CHK valuations here.
I don't know about you but I am buying all I can get ......
