CLAR hit a record high price today.

I have been long CLAR for several years and got in under $6/share and now it is really paying off. Interesting that with all the share price growth this Yahoo board has been strangely quiet. Anyone know why?

Mr. Kanders has a reputation for building and growing successful companies and he and his current team have done it again with Clarus Corp. It has taken several years, but they have a big winner now!

Looks like I was too conservative on my post 2 months ago when I said I expected CLAR to exceed $20 after the May conference call. We are already over $25 per share!

My best guess for the big price increase is the company is seeing huge spring/summer sales growth in both their Black Diamond Equipment and Barnes/Serria bullets segments. I would also like to see the sales and financial data on their recent Rhino-Rack acquisition. This acquisition fits right into their superfan brand strategy.

So does this success and growth now make CLAR an acquisition target itself? Possibly some big player in the outdoor equipment/sports may be interested, especially with their growth, but I'm betting Kanders and team have plans for growing the company much more before they are interested in selling out. Just IMHO..

Good Conf Call and 2020 numbers, especially considering the COVID impact on retail sales. Not to far off from my prediction 2 months ago on this board, it sounds like Barnes & Sierra can't build bullets fast enough to keep up with high demand. I have been impressed with their "SuperFan" strategy.. it really fits well when you have world recognized premium brands like Black Diamond and Sierra. I wouldn't be surprised to see Kanders and his team looking at few more acquisitions (at very attractive prices) from companies that didn't survive the COVID shutdowns well. They still have the $120M in NOS carryforwards to use against future earnings including TBD acquisitions. Looking forward to the earnings reports for the next few quarters and wouldn't be surprised to see CLAR go to $25-30 by the end of 2021...crossing my fingers :-).

who us the ceo of thuis co? Are they the same co. in MN, developing a product that can capture and detoxify PFAS ( currently giving a lot of headache to 3M co. ) in water? There are millions of dollars of lawsuits against 3M co. for causing contamination of PFAS in the surrounding community.

This has become quite a turnaround story. Business humming.

Clarus has their Q1 Conf Call scheduled for May 10.

I have read several news reports that gun and ammo sales have been strong since the Nov elections (from fear of more gun control?) so I expect to hear a good earnings report for Sierra/Barnes components.

With vaccines in arms and folks itching to go outside more this spring/summer, in my opinion, their Back Diamond equipment and outdoor clothing lines should continue to do well thru the summer/fall.

Senior management still owns a significant quantity of shares. There is also a big institutional ownership.

I'm puzzled why this stock seems to "stay below the radar" of most individual investors given it has seen great growth in both top and bottom lines the last few years??

I hope/expect we see CLAR break and hold above $20 after the May 10 call.

Clarus owns a great shooting sports staple line with Sierra & Barnes. I'm still trying to get a pulse on the desirability of the ski line which is more seasonal demand. Seems like a ripe acquisition for Vista. Vista CEO recently interviewed with Jim Cramer saying acquisitions are still a key strategy for Vista's growth.

Earnings on Monday. Preannouncement takes some of the drama out of it. Should be a killer season for ski accessories. I expect them to have good guidance going forward. I generally avoid retail and apparel, but this company has a unique niche. I'm hesitant about the skin care acquisition, so lets see what that's about. Anyone out there?

Been in and out of this stock for years. Bought again on the dip to the low $9's. At first I was underwhelmed by the move into skin care. But now I believe they will ultimately come out with a CBD product for pain relief. The skin care seems to be a niche for the young, athletic and affluent and I think it will be very well received.

Macquarie expect eps of USD1 in 2020. Why should this stock trade at such a large discount to the market?

Moved in when stock dipped for a day on 10/22 made a quick 85% gain on options. Look into LLNW it’s positioned to make a similar move just over a longer period of time. Do your own DD

One would expect that sales for their Sierra/Barnes company would be up significantly with the unrest we have had across the country this fall/winter. Comments?
