    CLII-EVgo merger date
The CLII SPAC and EVgo announced their merger agreement on Jan. 22. They aim to close the transaction by the end of June 2021. The blank-check company raised $230 million in its September 2020 IPO. It raised an additional $400 million through PIPE transactions, which drew institutional investors like BlackRock, Pimco, and Wellington Management. EVgo is set to receive $575 million in net cash to spend toward expanding its charging network to be able to serve more customers.

The CLII SPAC stock symbol will change to “EVGO” after the merger is completed. Investors holding shares of the blank-check company will own about 9 percent of the combined company. PIPE investors will own 17 percent and existing EVgo investors will own 74 percent.

Some may ask why Tesla owners would bother using EVgo or any other network when Tesla's Supercharger network is faster, easier, and less expensive to use? The answer is simple - it's all about accessibility. It's true that Tesla's Supercharger network is the largest, and best high-speed EV charging network in the US. However, as good as Tesla's network is, Superchargers aren't everywhere, and having the ability to use other networks can range from convenient to vital on certain road trips.

It's the one of the most promising EV SPAC's. It has real products and business deals with major companies. It also has backing from GM, Nissan, Uber and Lyft etc.

quote from the news release :

All of these new EVgo sites deploy cutting edge power sharing technology, including fast chargers capable of delivering up to 350 kW. This means that the sites could provide 150 miles of range in [8-12] minutes[1] for new 350kW-capable EV models coming to market. Further, as evidence of GM and EVgo's commitment to accelerating transportation electrification for all drivers, each of the sites has both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors, making it easy to go electric regardless of vehicle model.

To anyone else who bought in around $20 a share I truly understand the nervousness and tension your feeling. I remember during my earlier trades letting go of stocks at a loss because I thought they would never go back up only to watch in horror as they not only curl back up but go higher than I even expected and that type of thing happened to me more than once. Since it kept happening it made me realize that my choices were correct and I had the right ideas but lacked the patience to see them through and since then I have become profitable even in this unstable covid era of a market.

Evgo is the top of the chain when it comes to Fast charging and I am in @20 with no regrets. When this name changes the stock will do much better and while I wish I could have joined in at this price that it is now I know in time this will be a winner as the other stocks have been for me. Thinking long term with these low entry prices and being absolutely confident in my research and experience grants me assurance for this stock.

When the name finally changes from climate change crisis real impact aq to "EVGO" will help this tremendously lets face it the spac name as it is does not catch the eye nor is it easy to remember but evgo will be, and as a company it is already at the top of its game unlike other spacs which are typically "start ups" this spac already has a services and infrastructure currently in place.

Patience is the key I am in at a much higher price than what some of you are and yet I hold with conviction. My average is 18 and I am not selling a single share until we reach 30's or 40's and even then I would keep some shares in the pot since I am sure in a year or two this could 4x.
