The Bitcoin market is very unstable. Only day traders are profiting massively while long term holders are in tears.

I find it funny. Cibc is trading at 9x earnings with ttm at 6.5 billion. Airbnb trades at 60x earnings with ttm at 1.5 billion. Which would you rather own?

I can't remember when but it was at least a month and a 1/2 or 2 months ago I was calling for $55.... I still think it will get there.. As I said in a previous post banks businesses have not really started to show the cracks yet but they will show up soon... mortgage applications are way down just keep watching..

    Hoping for another dividend increase.

Its dividend is too attractive of not buying CM. Canadian banks are well governed and did not cut dividend even on economic downturn. The retail sales show that there is not recession. Interest earnings will increase.

After my experience with CIBC costco mastercard, I began researching CBIC info for a possible short position. According to online information, the transition from Capital One wasn't good. A lot of angry people reporting their experience and wanting to cancel. Will probably cancel in Jan. or Feb. when cash back is received? I wasn't expecting this because I held the big six banks in Canada in higher standards.. Anyone else looking into this?

With the equivalent of at least two more supersized rate increases, all Cdn banks are falling knives. Assets will be reassessed lower and the sector will trade at or near book value. So $50.00 cdn a share or lower coming soon.
