  • I added another 200 shares today!
  • @ICDC WEB. you think it will keep going down until earnings next week? And can we expect good earnings for Q2?
  • Overall I think we will see upside for CNI in the short-term. Perhaps a pullback next day or so could occur I suppose but are yall also seeing a further leg higher? check out AWE-some.Stock.s, its a pretty reliable service. of course you have to do your own due diligence, but they generally point you in the right direction.
  • Nice breakout today! NEW 52 WEEK HIGH!!
  • A new closing high today. That's huge and the stock should break out past $85 now...
  • New 52 week high today. I'm looking for $90+ by years end.
  • I'm surprised we are down today with the market being up and all other rail roads. Figure we be up at least a $1 today. Oh well. Just a pause I guess, on our way to new highs.
  • The company recently launched a pilot project involving a fitness tracking device called Readiband, which monitors and records employee fatigue and alertness.
    ---------------------------------
Yes, I can just see that happening. If the unionized princes are infuriated by CN wanting to install video monitors in THEIR engines, I can just see them supporting any level of personal monitoring. Sure.

And sure enough, here's the first ignorant knobhole's reaction:

"Readiband is designed to punish workers while on the job. If you have any fatigue you will be progressively put on notice then suspended. For each infraction you get the more times your put on notice the sooner your fired. This has nothing to do with helping 80% of the work force."

This tripe from the eejots who are always moaning about over work, how tired they always are, and how they aren't allowed to ask for more rest. Utter spectacular lunacy.

So keep automating, CN...getting that last whining, ungrateful ,extortionist, unionized tool off the trains is the only way to remain a viable business.
  • How much higher can you see us going? Thanks
  • You'd think anyone with the handle "Yahoo Finance Insights" would post something more than just stock quotes.

Is that fulfilling or well paid? Or do I just not "get" the internet?
  • CNI reached a new All Time High at 80.00
  • stock split coming this year?
  • I have a feeling CNI will see a pullback now. What yall think? Yo you should really check out awe.some.stock.s, they seem on point with their stocks.
  • CNI reached a new All Time High at 79.13
  • All time High?
  • Hey Lobsterhead, your favorite love-to-hate Canadian Minister of Transport is making some changes that impact CNI. You can begin ranting at your convenience...

  • I worked for them for 35 yrs and it always baffled me that the stock went down after good financials.Dont panic they will go up I have never lost money on them
  • Solid Q1 results by CNI. CNR FY17 earnings guidance raised from mid-single digits to high single digits. Of course, analysts have been raising estimates since last quarter so it is inline with current analyst targets.

@@@"With a strong start in Q1 and an increased volume outlook for the rest of the year, I am pleased to announce an upward revision to our 2017 financial outlook." Revised 2017 financial outlook (2) Under its revised outlook, CN now aims to deliver 2017 adjusted diluted EPS in the range of C$4.95 to C$5.10, versus last year's adjusted diluted EPS (1) of C$4.59, compared with its Jan. 24, 2017 financial outlook which called for mid-single-digit growth this year.
