I’m adding whenever it falls below 30x LTM FCFA2S. What points of reference do you guys use to determine when to add to your positions?

If you look at two level quotes the 5th highest bidder is $1,753 which means if someone needs to liquidate the shares price can fall fast.

Thoughts on suspending the quarterly and special dividends to raise more cash for larger acquisitions?

My suggestion is to be patient. If you're look at the 1 year target for the stock, it's now at $2405. Tipranks targets are as follows: Low $2200, Average $2549 and High of $3048. It's almost a set it and forget stock. Look at it's history and you can see it has always gone up over time. Patience is the key. GL 😀

SAN JOSE, Calif. and TORONTO, May 05, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FICO (NYSE:FICO), a leading predictive analytics and decision management software company, and Constellation Software Inc. (“Constellation”) (TSX: CSU) jointly announced today that they have entered into a binding agreement for the purchase and sale of FICO’s Collection and Recovery business to Constellation’s Jonas Software operating group, a leading provider of enterprise management software solutions. Great news! Hoping the stock price will reflect this going forward

This company sells with a 2% free cash flow yield at its current valuation. Historically the company has barely been able to double its free cash flow in the last 5 years. That means in 5 years the yield will almost certainly be below 4% unless you have some sort of organic growth miracle. This is an incredibly dangerous price level to buy into this company.

I’ve followed CSU for a long time. I’ve never been able to bring myself to invest because of some key questions. How big is their addressable market and how come no one else can come in and bid for their acquisitions? There doesn’t really seem to be any organic growth to speak of. Seems like eventually they will hit the end of the road - unless the vertical software market is like blue ocean massive and I’m missing that?

Top 3 holdings in my Covid proof portfolio: Berkshire Hathaway, Constellation Software, and Bell Enterprises.

The best Canadian tech stock in terms of revenue growth, future 5 yrs earning growth, PEG ratios. I went heavily in this few weeks before the earnings. Also, I don't invest in tech sector for dividends. So, I am happy if they cut dividends and find better opportunities for future growth.

CSU is my favourite Canadian Growth Stock, along with BCE as my dividend play. On the US side, Berkshire Hathaway is my pick. These stock are the top 3 of my portfolio and a good way to ride out this pandemic.

I am making a list of all CSU companies for fun. Interesting. I found already 4 that serviced my existence without me knowing.

48 acquisitions announced so far by the whole group. In total around USD 1170 million in revenues in prior year. Of my particular interest is TSS expansion in Serbia, where there are hundreds of good small IT companies that would be suitable candidates.

Some of the run up is anticipation that Constellation may "spin off" another company as they did with Topicus (TOI) which has created a ton of value for shareholders, rather than algorithmic trading etc. Add to that the potential extra dividend that has been handed out at times around the holidays (perhaps less likely given recent shareholder letters about keeping dividends for investing) and recent analyst price targets climbing to > 2300 and you have a recipe for a quick return.
    Bullish
