The Charlotte-based bottler of Coke products is dropping “Bottling” from its name to become Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc. (NASDAQ: COKE), effective Jan. 1, 2019. “We decided to change our name to Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc. in order to simplify our legal name and to reflect how we are already commonly known in the marketplace," says Frank Harrison, Coke Consolidated CEO.
