Full disclosure here, I do not own any Coty shares anymore. But I am interested in what the Board thinks about Coty's share price going down after this turn of events today with this so called Pandemic that will surely close down a lot of countries. And prevent opening up economies and will keep Mask's on for a very long time. Where is Coty's share price headed down for this period in time. Simply put. What should be a good entry point now that we have the Pandemic back. I am not bad mouthing Coty. I just want a good entry point. Your opinions and price entry predictions will be welcomed and considered. Although I do have my own ideas as to what I should pay for Coty.

I do not understand the market's negative reaction on the $500 million senior notes. Being able to borrow this much money when historically we are in the lowest rate environment, makes perfect sense, specially when you use it for early repayment of higher rate loans

Sue is on the cover of Vogue Spain this month. She is making history in more ways than one, and we will be seeing much more of her in the fashion media as a global fashion influencer. I’ll bet we see her at next years Met Gala.

    Any catalysts coming up?
I guess makeup is making a comeback with masks starting to go away. Back to pre pandemic sales again.

How did investor day go? I heard it was good? That’s about it but the stock went from 11 to 10.30 right after investor day into Friday.

Price target decrease to 12 by deusche bank? Doesn’t make sense to me to be honest.

America Ferrera the latest COVERGIRL is very cute :)

I’m bullish going into next earnings.

(COTY) swung to a fiscal first-quarter profit and raised its 2022 sales outlook as the cosmetics maker said it was reducing its stake in hair-care unit Wella for almost $216 million to KKR (KKR).

The parent of Rimmel and Cover Girl brand makeup swing to adjusted profit of $0.08 per share, from a loss of $0.01 a year ago, ahead of the consensus on Capital IQ for $0.02 per share. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $1.37 billion, up from $1.12 billion the prior year. Analysts were looking for $1.36 billion.

The most recent three month period "marks the fifth consecutive quarter of Coty delivering results inline to ahead of expectations," Chief Executive Sue Nabi said in a statement. The company's adjusted gross margin rose 480 basis points to 63.4%, which it said was above pre-pandemic levels. The Street was expecting 60.5%.

Sales of the company's prestige brands, which accounted for 63% of total sales, shot up 35% to $871 million, helped by sales of Gucci and Burberry fragrances. Consumer beauty products, which made up 37% of total sales, grew by 4.4% to $501 million.

Coty also said its was selling an additional 4.7% stake in Wella to KKR in exchange for the redemption of around 56% of KKR's remaining convertible preferred shares in Coty, a deal valued at around $215.7 million. The transaction will lower Coty's stake in Wella to approximately 26%. KKR will continue to hold a 2.4% stake in Coty on an as-converted basis.

"With today's announcement we are well advanced on simplifying our balance sheet and capital structure objectives, while simultaneously confirming the strong and growing value of our Wella stake," Nabi said.

For fiscal 2022, Coty is expecting growth in like-for-like sales in the low-to-mid teens percentage range, up from its prior forecast of growth in the low-teens. Revenue rose almost 21% on a like-for-like basis in the first quarter.

Adjusted EPS is seen between $0.19 to $0.23 for the fiscal year, ahead of the Capital IQ view for $0.16. The company said it continued to see "beauty market momentum," with sales strength in the US and China, along with improvement in western Europe.

Time to reach a 52 week high; why not, because ER exceeded expectations, multiple analysts have raised the expectation, one who expects $14, a company has bought millions of shares , more than KKR sold, November and December is usually a bullish time for stock, more people are smelling good, looking good, and feeling good, Covid is slow ly disappearing from the front page, people are hungry to buy buy buy after being lock in for so long, positive cash flow is key, supply chain snags for this company is less than others. Wait a minute I need to go and freshen up up up up.

Well as I have been saying about the disconnect with the option world and the underlying stock. I have been telling everyone here for months that the JAN 2022 $5 calls have been selling at a discount to the NAV price. I swapped all that I had in this company with the $5 calls and when I sold only half it made up for all of my losses here and a profit of over 250%. I didn't sell all my positions as it is still selling at a discount to the actual stock price which makes it a better buy than sell but i needed to at least redeem myself.
