Yesterday my broker suddenly registered a 50% percent dividend in my account for ELP ($ 0.6052 per share), anyone know what's up with that?

What’s up with the big drop today? Was it due to div ex date?

Dear friends, I bought this stock before the split and sold it after the split. I owned the stock only for a month. amounting volume to about 20k usd. I paid a ADR fee of USD 158 for a period of one month. I'm asking because I don't know. In my case, is it normal that I have paid 158 usd adr fee? Or did the platform where I used to trade stocks deceived me?

I can't find any info on how the split will impact the ADR's. Will they adjust the ratio of ADR's to regular shares so we end up with the same number of shares or keep the same ratio and we'll end up with 10 times more shares worth 10% of yesterday's value? If the latter is the case, ADR holders will get hit with a 10 times increase in ADR fees since the fees are based on an agreed fee per share. Just the ADR fees could wipe out a large percent of the dividend income. I had that happen on another stock which had a split and the ADR fees were about 90% of my dividend income. Hope this isn't the case here but I haven't seen any info on how the split will be treated for ADR holders. Right now, the shares show up on my account at $1.285 closing price per share but the number shares hasn't been adjusted so my account shows a 90% loss on the shares at closing. I'm sure the number of shares will be adjusted up eventually so I have 10 times more shares and zero loss but the ADR fee issue is a big uncertainty.

1:10 split barely justifiable at the $11-13 range. What are they doing? Trying to trick new investors? Or just willing to risk delisting to raise money?

For a company previously trading around $12-13/share, which sound facts supported a share split (10:1)? Had ELP traded around $120-130, lowering the share price by 10X can possibly be rationalized to enable small investors easier purchase access. What am I missing on the recent split? TIA

Up 7.3% to $12.06 on high volume. Someone with deep pockets like this one that's now on my "keeper" list.

Does anyone understand the market cap of the company? It’s around 30 billion $ while the annual profits is less than 1 billion $ (4 billion brl) it seems way off taking multiple of more than 30 in this industry and considering its operating in emerging market

It’s interesting to see elp will target dividends to net income making them more predictable which is clearly a plus. I’ve owned elp on and off for years and never have I understood the dividend calculation So the change will help. May start buying elp again. Seems like oil isn’t going back to the 30’s ever again

Anyone else's broker not update their shares. Woke up to same number of shares but with the new price. And I was hoping to get an option for the preferred stock option of 1 to 1 instead of the 1 to 10. And seems like the shorts are starting to hit this stock. Always seeing alot of after hours buying and then massive dumps. Looks like someone wants to keep this stock down. Anyone else seeing this.
