Cray Inc. shares fell in the extended session Tuesday after the supercomputer company reported a wider-than-expected loss and forecast revenue below Wall Street estimates. Cray shares fell 9.8% after hours, following a 0.2% rise to close the regular session at $22.05. The company reported a fourth-quarter loss of $13.3 million, or 33 cents a share, compared with a loss of $97.5 million, or $2.42 a share, in the year-ago period. The adjusted loss was 22 cents a share. Revenue declined to $163.4 million from $166.6 million in the year-ago quarter. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had forecast a loss of 2 cents a share on revenue of $157.9 million. For the first quarter, Cray expects revenue of $70 million, while analysts had forecast on revenue of $72.2 million.
