CANONSBURG, PA , Aug. 8, 2018 /CNW/ - Corsa Coal Corp. (CSO.V) ("Corsa" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the results of its annual and special meeting of shareholders held earlier today (the "Meeting"). At the Meeting, the following eight nominees were re-appointed as directors of the Company (the "Board") to hold office until the close of the next annual meeting of the Company's shareholders: Robert C. Sturdivant , John H. Craig , Alan M. De 'Ath, George G. Dethlefsen , Arthur Einav , Robert Scott , Ronald G. Stovash and Kai Xia . In addition, Urish Popeck & Co., LLC, Certified Public Accountants, were appointed as auditors of the Company and shareholders re-approved and ratified the Company's existing second amended and restated stock option plan, in accordance with the requirements of the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange and passed a special resolution authorizing an amendment to the articles of continuance of the Company to allow the directors of the Company to appoint one or more directors up to a maximum of one third of the number directors elected at the previous annual meeting of shareholders to hold office for a term expiring not later than the close of the next annual meeting of shareholders.

(CSO.V) ("Corsa" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Schicke as its Chief Commercial Officer and the promotion of Fred Cushmore to the role of Vice President, Head of International Sales, effective July 9, 2018 . Mr. Cushmore has been with the Company since October 2016 and, prior to the promotion, has served as Vice President of Metallurgical Exports for Corsa's Northern Appalachia Division. In that capacity, Mr. Cushmore has developed Corsa's Sales & Trading platform, and in so doing has developed new international customers as well as new domestic purchased coal supply sources. These efforts contributed to a 141% increase in the Company's metallurgical coal sales volumes in 2017 and further expected growth in 2018.

Corsa Coal Announces Financial Results for Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2017 and Completes the Sale of the Central Appalachia Division
CANONSBURG, PA, March 7, 2018 /CNW/ - Corsa Coal Corp. (CSO.V) ("Corsa" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it is selling its thermal and industrial coal division, Central Appalachia ("CAPP"), to a buyer group led by CAPP's current management team (the "Transaction"). "The sale of our CAPP division will allow us to dedicate all of our corporate resources to the metallurgical coal market where we believe we can achieve the highest rates of return on investment," said George Dethlefsen, the Company's Chief Executive Officer. CAPP division's current operations include one underground mine, the Cooper Ridge Deep Mine, and two surface operations, the Valley Creek and Buffalo Creek mines.
