I started following "lionstock-aletrs” (Gooogle it - off course without any space or dash in between the words) and their notifications are better than anyone else.

At this level with all the cash brought back from overseas and earnings forecast at $3.98 for next year with the lowest at $3.63 its time to consider slowly buying a few shares here or there I would think . They also have authorized 300 mm dollars to buy back shares . At these prices that is almost 20% of the current float . 98% of the company is owned by institutions so they move it back and forth against the fundamentals . Despite the rising price of energy and rubber this is one fine company at about 1.5 times book and at a forward PE of 8.7 aprox. Hard to see it as a sell at this level though seasonally the next reporting quarter is the worst for the stock or the time to aquire spread out . Hope management is taking down some of the float just like we should buy with long term capital gains in mind spread out a little at a time when the mood is sell .

This was up on GTs good news. Different company. It’s my belief this company overvalued. If it misses, lookout below! Won’t be as generous as they were w GT. Will be an interesting Monday AM. Feels trappy.

    What about the China issues?
After being a shareholder for a long time, I bailed out with the last spat when a china boss commandereed a joint venture there and the State department did squat and we never new of a reasonable solution to the event.
I guess it was precursor of where we are today.

I don't get it , why is CTB on downward spiral , I've been selling tires for 35 years . You give the customer the choice of good - better - best , 90% take the middle , That's basically where CTB fits in. I'd hate to sell , its been a great company for many decades

Dave Stevens from GfK says the firm’s latest data, from the week ending June 13, shows dealers sold more tire units in that seven-day period than any other week so far in 2020. It’s also only the second time this year that sales for the week outpaced sales for the same week from the previous year

CTB cash allocation is confusing; they thought share repurchases at $34 was wise, now they're gun shy to buy at this price? GLTA.

I hope cooper is smart enough to stay out of politics.
