cvi's 34% holdings of uan are worth close to 2 bucks per cvi share today versus just twenty cents at the november 2020 lows when cvi bottomed at 9.96. lowest cvi CLOSING price that week was 10.41. with the cvi renewables projects near completion and hopefully some relief from past RIN obligations, low debt, and the current attractive crack spread, cvi would seem to appear "a birds nest on the ground" . i am heavily long for better or worse and bought more today at 12.89. any serious constructive information to enhance my bullish outlook would be appreciated as well as any bearish thoughts which might dim my enthusiasm and possibly result in my lightening up substantially.

So this ride down from $53.07 to $12.80 - that is over $40 per share- hope you got that much as dividend in the last two years to make up for this loss- Lucy how is the ride down for 8000 shares doing- and in addition you got some ride down on those last 2,000 shares too. So rather than mocking others like you do on XIN MB- hope this ride down to cure your shortcomings for being called a human.
Wish you regain some of these losses and do well.

@Rahul Vangala: Like you did with- CVI from $53.00 to $13.00 - 8000 shares and then added 1000 for $21 and another 1000 for $17. You should be last one advising anybody about investing.
You lost $320,000 on those 8000 shares.

and lost another about $12,000 on those last 2000 shares

Gosh, it seems like a week or two ago that Lucy was strutting around like a peacock bragging how he snagged additional shares below 17.30. Unfortunately, that was not the bottom and soon we might be below 15.00. Lucy has over 8000 shares. Let’s hope for a quick recovery in the share price before October so he can go deer hunting with a clear mind

Lucifer got 24cents today per share and he walked back to XIN MB to act like he is celebrating his gain here.

An institution or two has apparently lost faith in the company. Effectively anyone who bought for the great dividend and is still holding has lost the value of the dividend and still owes taxes on the dividend.

Interesting to note that the day ended with a higher share price than the open. Over the past several days our share price dropped significantly on high volume in the last hour of trade, In fact most of the day's volume over the past several days was in that last hour or two. Today marks the first day in several that trading volume was below average trading volume by about 32%. Could it be that the institutional computers have completed their dance? Might we see those same computers begin pushing the share price back up again? I have not found anything in the news that might justify such a strong move downward that rippled through the oil patch. Certainly CVI is in better shape than they have ever been and it is beginning our strongest quarters with refined product prices high and rising, traffic is flooding our streets once again, planes are packed and even cruse ships are starting their voyages. Perhaps those institutions just needed to drive oil and refinery stock prices down so they could take a cheap position for themselves for the upcoming party. Cheers!

This correction while the 10 year treasury low and this from Bond King Gundalach saying but stocks - like I want to beleive what he says:
Still, despite the anomalies taking shape in the market, the DoubleLine boss said that he was still a buyer of stocks. “I think you’re OK holding,” he said, noting that he has reduced his levels of cash and dialed up his equity holdings.

Trading volume today is incredibly low at about 1/3 of the normal volume. I've also noticed this week that CVI has not moved up in price to the degree that other refineries and oil related stocks have moved which I find peculiar. Whoever is holding CVI down, I think it can't continue for much longer especially as we are closing out another quarter that should be a great quarter for CVI. With these things in mind I placed another order for 1000 shares at $17.89 this afternoon. Just 10 minutes left to the trading day now and my order has still not filled but we are just 4 cents away. Wish me luck..... Cheers!

Deer hunting season is only four months away. Been scoping out my woodlot and the neighboring farm fields and I tell you, the deer are out and about like flies at a barbeque. Seen some nice big old bucks today eating on the soybean fields just north of my place and a nice doe in my woods. Only problem is, my old hunting buddy died suddenly last Fall so I'll have to find a new one. Anyone interested? RV? Kenny?

CVI needs to sell its UAN shares and buy back CVI shares. At these oil prices CVI used to be around $58 per share. They can make HUGE profits by selling UAN shares.

Saudis have indicated that they will increase supply to keep the price of oil from going too high. Saw an article that said that a growing number of lawsuits against big oil will be made on the basis of climate change and big oils knowledge of it for years while covering it up. They want to treat big oil like they treated tobacco companies.
