Love that this keeps running, as I have a large position. However, it does feel like it may be getting ahead of itself at the moment.

How significant is the recent news via a CWEN press release "that Chad Plotkin will be stepping down from his position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Company" right after the ER on Aug. 2nd?

Love this stock, hidden gem. I am a hard core growth stock buyer, but this stock fits my model perfectly.

Green energy is going to expand massively over the next 5-10-20 yrs.

Never be afraid to buy growth, that what you should be doing.

is there any catalyst for 6% up today? also CWEN has been outperforming other renewable yieldco such as NEP and AY in the past 3 months and wonder why...
  • T
Off 4.4% today, any specific reason?
  • D
Can anyone explain the 10% drop please

Is this an overreaction? Guggenheim downgrades stock with stock already down a bunch. Form 13C just released
saying Fidelity now owns almost 6.0 million shares of CWEN. Beneficially Owned: 5,972,338. I think thats a new buy.

    (b) Percent of Class: 8.171%

CWEN just announced another dividend increase, so it's time to buy more between now and the end of February. Holders as of March 3, 2022 get in on the new divi.

PG&E article says they intend to pay suppliers in full on or after Chapter 11 filing. Good news for CWEN. The entire drop was based off of them not paying CWEN in full or renegotiating terms

This company and several other utility companies are really hidden gem undervalued companies. With electric vehicles starting to really make there move, these companies should make a fortune selling much more electricity to charge the vehicles. In states where utility rates per kwh are low, it is even a greater chance, as people living in those areas should buy an EV in the next couple of years. Imagine states like WV where utility rates are below 9c/kwh. There are cars now with 100 kwh batteries capable of achieving 400 miles on a charge. At 9c/kwh, a 100kwh battery could be fully charged for $9 and the vehicle driven for 400 miles on that charge. Can you drive a gasoline driven car 400 miles for $9? Not even close, and the EV's only have 22 moving parts and basically no MT or oil changes. Money that used to go to oil companies will be going toward utility companies. This trend should really help most utility companies in the upcoming years.

The Dividend is now 340% of earnings. I’m waiting for Jenny Harrington to be on the 12 noon show to ask her a question.

I have 38k and I’m thinking about dropping it in this stock. Seems like a safe growing stock to be in.

After reading a number of articles about CWEN, I am very much considering becoming a long-term investor. The timing seems right. The report for Q2 earnings looked good. And, I think the renewable energy sector will benefit greatly with a huge federal infrastructure stimulus package. Also, I like the fact that this company may be able to deal with great volatility because it actually seems to me to be recession-proof as a much needed producer of electricity.

CWEN is a no brainer. The nature of the business with long term 30 year contracts, the future in renewables taking over less economical energy sources like coal and eventually other fossil fuels, increasing dividends, and resilience to outside factors like COVID-19 makes this an easy buy.

I have added CWEN into both my ira and brokerage account for long term growth and collecting a nice dividend.

Seriously, is there not one single shareholder who will exlain to me why she or he is comfortable with a 230% dividend payout ratio? I like the yield and would like to be comfortable taking a position, but I would have to understand first how that dividend can possibly be sustained. TIA

Saw a lot of Form 13Gs being filed. It usually means the Institutions are buying in. Good sign?

All time high today, congrats fellow longs! This is a stock with a bright future ahead plus a strong 5% dividend yield plus an annual dividend growth rate between 5% and 8%. No brainer!
