    Great long term investment.
Still have high vacancies and the baby boomers are aging. Long term care is going to be huge.

Nice upward momentum. Look forward to the occupancy numbers recovering to their pre-covid range of 88-89%. Can see a SP of $13-13.50 by year end.

Easy enough, just call different locations. Vacancy is still high....

Recurring revenue models are the only ones that will survive, 90% of our revs are recurring backed by gov. CSH will not have cash flow issues/div cuts. Just weather the storm and the upside is huge.

I can’t believe that this stock does not get talked about more. With all of the baby boomers in Canada right now, there will be a huge need for retirement homes and long term care facilities! I really believe that it is a dark horse! (The dividend is a great cherry on top)

Was their suspension worth the drop in sp?They made a bad call and I made a big mistake when I was considering dropping them from my portfolio a month ago and didn’t.

Rising operating expenses due to pandemic. FFO has fallen materially. FFO is likely stable here. Occupancy is falling and likely to fall further. Payout nearing 100%. Retirement homes and operations are under pressure and will take more time to recover. I was hoping for some additional federal support through grants. Sadly, better opportunities out there. I'll relook at retirement operations once we can see occupancy and expenses stabilized. Until then, there is a lot of risk in this segment as more fair value write downs are likely. I'm not short, just watching for a good entry into retirement facilities.

Bullish on occupancy numbers recovering sooner than expected, given PSWs and residents will be first in line to receive the coronavirus vaccine. Should allow Chartwell to resume new resident intake for their seniors residences and allow those waiting in hospital beds post recovery to return to their respective LTC homes.

my thinking is chartwell doesnt need the economy to recover like many other reits.. residents are still paying rent... are retail rentors paying? some yes, but some no...ñ and the economy needs to recover.. pensioners pay their rent. .. rain or shine..

I am thinking gif investing- my concern is that they paid dividends even though they weren’t profitable. Will they be profitable enough in the fourth quarter to have a year end profit? How can they keep paying dividends if they don’t continue to be profitable? Any intelligent insight is appreciated

Government is failing seniors. They should be piling money into the most effected. Healthcare and senior homes need help.
