9 years ago over 50. Then massive growth paying way to much for growth. CEO comp was over 40 million. Now what too much debt. Poor outdated equipped hospitals

CHS corp just revised their yearly goals so they can try to pay out a bonus. These bonuses get higher and higher of a percentage of their salary. So, the higher up your title, the more you get. We are talking about tens of millions of dollars. Now if the company is doing well, then why not, pay them, but when you have a terrible year like this, all they are doing is changing goals mid stream so they can take more money from a company that does not have this extra cash. Now this money is an overhead expense that should not be spent thus should be used as part of their overall earnings, but the greed from Administration is extreme.

This made a nice bounce from the low $2.60s. I am guessing it will move up a bit more..maybe $3.15-$3.25, then decline again.

Long term follower here. Haven’t commented lately. I work with 2 CHS hospitals. Sad state of affairs. Facilities are crumbling, no updates, no new equipment, short staff, low morale. If these two hospitals are any indication of the financial health of CHS, stick a fork in it. It’s done.

I see Michael's posts are up to three sentences with 2-4 words each. That community college degree is really something.

To think W Smith went on butjj in Ny spree 8 years ago. CYH had more hospitals in number. But they were of I’ll quality and vastly overpriced

Look at HCA PPS and market value. Mgmt and Bd make difference

CYH will not exist in less than 5 years

Poor Assets. Lack of capital to upgrade facilities

CHS will not go bankrupt this year or next, but they will have to re-finance their debt in 2024 or end of 2023. Rates are way higher. The interest is crushing them. Corp Overhead is huge. PPO agreements are week and that is why they cannot compete in certain markets and it keeps getting worse. Good example is Venice, FL location closing. HCA is gradually putting them out of business.

Closing one of the two problem facilities. Check. Now just need to get admissions up nationwide and boom, we’re looking at a 3-bagger.
