Announcement of Periodic Review: Moody's announces completion of a periodic review of ratings of Dominion Energy, Inc. New York, November 11, 2019 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") has completed a periodic review of the ratings of Dominion Energy, Inc. and other ratings that are associated with the same analytical unit. The review was conducted through a portfolio review in which Moody's assessed the appropriateness of the ratings in the context of the relevant principal methodology(ies), recent developments, and a comparison of the financial and operating profile to similarly rated peers, which was followed by a rating committee.
Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") placed the A3 senior unsecured rating and (P)A3 senior unsecured shelf rating of Dominion Energy Gas Holdings, LLC (DEGH) on review for downgrade. The review of DEGH's rating is prompted by an internal reorganization of Dominion Energy, Inc.'s (Dominion, Baa2 stable) businesses, whereby DEGH will be adding natural gas pipelines and the Cove Point liquified natural gas (LNG) facility.
