U.S. stocks were little changed Tuesday as investors continued to focus on earnings releases and continued negotiations in Congress over a stimulus package.
The U.S. ISM manufacturing index came in at 54.2 for July, better than economists had expected. A flurry of news about deals is lifting markets as well.
