I’ve been listening to the doom and gloom for two decades as this stock has wound its way to the bottom. At this point two things need to happen and in no particular order. First, the massive lay off of overhead. By that I mean legal, accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, training, administration, vice presidents, directors and the like. If I were doing it I’d get it done before Christmas and end the year on a positive note. Second, a white knight or any other kind of knight to come along and absorb this relic with a few good bones left in it – primarily service. Gerrard just put DBD up for sale. It’s time has passed. Ending the year on a high note will help.
Neither of these things are good for Canton-Akron-Hudson or the employees there. But they are inevitable. Get them over with now and go on with your lives. This thing just can’t last.
Oh and by the way, dump your stock now while it has some value.

One piece of good news. The Caa bond that mature in 2024 is called in April 2022. I bet it has new financing. And the forward PE is 5.6 . Analyst see something that I don't see ?

Revenue is there, need a huge sense of urgency to reduce cost, eliminate waste and streamline processes. For example, shareholders are losing a lot of money this year, so - cancel bonuses, cancel the annual sales shing dig in Hawaii, hire process improvement experts like Hackett and have them report to the Board, etc. Get the cost out!!!!

I just hope this turkey of a company doesn't lay an egg with its earnings release. They need to cut the salaries of all of the execs because the company isn't performing at a decent level and the shareholders want the dividend restored.

Well. DBD continued to meet my expectations - they continue to do a horrible job running their business and finances.

One of the excuses of the quarter was increased supply cost from inflation which reduced margins.. WHY did DN contracts with suppliers allow cost increases to pass through BUT contracts with customers did not allow cost increases to pass through? This hurts margins! Bad execution!!! Procurement must be coordinated with Sales on price negotiations!!!!

Nobody really listens to the same message...over...and over...and over....and over. This will get back to the $30s in time. No toilet. No flushing.

Time to elect new Diebold directors because the old boys club and management just laid a major egg with its earnings.

600 million in receivable and another 600 million sitting in inventory. I guess the debt is not a big red flag. Waiting for the next quarterly report. Might make or break this stock.

I'm a DN employee The new products in the pipeline are unbelievable and will change the pace of the standard diebold. I believe this stock will end up reaching the all-time high in time. The manufacturing is starting to ramp up!

You never know. AMD and AAPL were once on the brinks. But Steve Jobs really cared about Apple to an extraordinary degree. I am not sure Gerrard really had a secret ACE up his sleeve like that of an IPad.

This is really beaten down just before its earnings report. If the earnings stink, then we are definitely in for an early cold dark winter…….
