Delphi is down 5.30% to 17.16
Entry point should be $16
Q4 - here we go, now is the time to buy in! this stock should go sky high
DLPH is down another .95 in after hours, it appears there is seriously something wrong, down 30% in less than 3 weeks? Any ideas?
DLPH has more downside to come. Analyst estimates for 2019 have been reduced nearly 5% in the past 60 days. The company guided operating profit margin lower in the most recent earnings call (likely not the last downward revision). Major insider sales in recent weeks include nearly $250,000 by the CFO.
We would be buyers at $28.
Delphi could reverse around 28/27 $ ??
I don't get the extremely low valuation for this company. They have profit margins above the average auto parts company. They produce more cash flow than most auto parts companies with an EBITDA margin of almost 17%. Yet on an EBITDA per share basis DLPH sells for only 2.5 x. This is the lowest of all auto parts companies; well below the 4x average for the industry. The one negative is their debt, which is quite high at 31% of revenue. I know that their CEO recently left and they reduced revenue guidance for the current year, but the sell off seems excessive.
This has been on a steady decline since the separation, while the other division is doing well. Is it the leadership or the product offering?
At the rate this CEO is going he can get the shares down to single digits by christmas,
Rumors BWA could buy Delphi for a significant premium premium. Best time to get in I guess
Why is this 9 dollars?! Wasn't the buyout price 15-16 bucks?
Not a lot of chatter on these boards. I'm looking at buying in. I like that they split off the drivetrain business. I think they'll make a killing focusing on autonomous vehicles and the like...
Oh yeah... they are authorizing a $200 million dollars worth of share repurchase. Just because they are authorizing it, it doesn't mean they will actually follow through. They are very deep in debt. But the reason for this post is; the article has the verbiage of "Delphi announces $200 million share repurchase program and suspends quarterly dividend". It should read $200 million dollars worth of shares, since the float is 84 million shares. So at this $18 share price, that's about 6% of the float over the next 2-years. If share price rises they will be buying back less (if they even buy any at all). Just because they authorize it, doesn't mean they will do it. They have $1.5 billion dollars of debt that needs paid down, and the interest paid on first. This is not a headline to get excited over. There is minimal growth in this company

Delphi reached a 52 Week high at 18.27
the drop from 29.7 to 18.5 since 10/4/18 has wiped out my portfolio gains for the year. There is more going on here than I understand.
If a decision is ever reached with the EU, I imagine things will change.
The 20% drop in delphi in 5 days is frightening. The selling is and downward valuation is endless.
wait for earnings before buying this falling knife
Congratulations!!!! 17 days in a row of straight declines!!!! I am guessing DLPH is in record territory, well done and only 2% held in short.
If the company cuts their dividend, who cares. They are making money. In the long run, that’s all that matters.
