Man, I bought some frozen doughnuts - 6 for $1. Keep them in the freezer and pull them out the night before using, or 1-2 hours if just using a couple at a time.
Tastes just like a Krispy Kreme! What a deal.

Picking up another 500 at $88.33 in ira. Will ride to expected $110-120 in the next year.

Guys earnings were better than expected. I don’t understand why this is down. It’s not making sense.

clearly a shift from the sector laggard (DLTR,) to the sector leader, Dollar general. DG is putting new stores in closer proximity to more affluent areas and the store layout is superior..,...not so junked up. DLTR & FAMILY DOLLAR are so dated, run down looking and predominately in low end neighborhoods. Make the switch now and you won't regret it.

FYI, Dollar Tree just upgraded to a B rating with a recommendation of Buy from Charles Schwab. That’s positive news.

Funny how some call this a, "poor man's store." I know a lot of rich people who go here too. I have an antique store. I go in here and buy things for a buck and sell them for 10 bucks. I just put a tag on them. It is there option to do. So if the rich do not want to go in the stores; they can pay me the 900 percent finders fee.

Why do some investors buy 2nd best (DLTR), when they can own best (DG) for a little more , and get the benefit of much larger long-term gains? Go into one of the DLTR or Dollar Trees and look around. Where is the increase coming from? Increasing the selling of birthday balloons or cheap cards & pencils? This company is gradually, not going to the moon, but to the bottom of the ocean. Put it in your diary and watch it happen over the next 5 yrs. It's another K-mart, only worse. Just my observations. Everyone has their own. Buy some DG and wake up happier.

May 28, 2020 7:57 AM ET|About: Dollar Tree, Inc. (DLTR)|By: Niloofer Shaikh, SA News Editor
Dollar Tree (NASDAQ:DLTR) reports enterprise same-store sales increased 7% in FQ1 (ended May 2) beats the consensus mark of +5.1%.
Same-store sales declined 0.9% at Dollar Tree-branded stores and increased 15.5% at Family Dollar stores.
Gross margin rate down 120 bps to 28.5%, driven by merchandise mix, incremental tariffs of $23M, markdowns related to Easter merchandise, and higher distribution center payroll costs.
Operating margin rate slipped 80 bps to 5.8%.
The company now expects to open 500 new stores in FY2020 vs. its original plan of 550 new stores.
Capital expenditures for FY2020 are now expected to be ~$1B vs. prior expectation of $1.2B.
    Store count +106 Y/Y to 15,370.
Given the expectation of continued volatility and uncertainty, the company is not issuing updated guidance.
    DLTR +7.68% premarket.
