Technical Assessment: Bullish in the Intermediate-TermIt's been over two months since we last commented on precious metals in the space, as the breakout in November failed miserably. While we hope (for the sake of gold bugs) that we don't jinx them again, there are some constructive things going on in the metals complex. GLD bounced off its mid-December low and is back above its 50- and 200-day averages. SLV lost and then recaptured the bottom of its range going back to September 2020 and is now challenging the underside of its 50-day average.
