I've been buying Dnp in my Rothe IRA for the last 5 years. You can count on the monthly tax free dividend it will generate in retirement. Had the stock on reinvest for a long time. Wish I would of purchased more when it was under 10.50 a share. Dose anyone think its to high now at 11.39. Still pays almose 6% tax free in my Rothe.

I was hoping the FED rate would cause pullback. I have been waiting 6 months to add another 500 shares. This might be the best stock in my ira.

It may indeed be in for a pull back, but it's still a great place to park money and make a buck to boot!

DNP is 30 years old this May. They rang the opening bell on the NYSE Monday, May 8th.
Thirty years of consecutive monthly distributions, no misses, no cuts, no reductions. That's 360 straight.
It don't get any better than that, folks...

What is your take on DPG? It's a family relative of DNP. DPG pays $0.35 per quarter and is selling at a discount.

Based on the Relative Strength Index 64.35 in the short-term DNP does not seem to be like a great trade. Ahh, now this is exactly Mark from LionSt!ockalerts informed me - I should have listened to him.
