Strong increase in book value. If it continues, another dividend hike is on its way.

Yields on 10 year bonds got hammered yesterday and again today, making EFC's 10% yield that much more attractive. This thing is a bargain at $18. Management did a stellar job navigating COVID. They are not going to screw up now. I don't believe they would do a secondary unless the $0.15 monthly distribution was rock solid.

I'm long and cash on the side. Anything under 18.30 is a bargain.

Why would they have an offering and continue to raise the dividend why not, just leave the dividend where it was?

So roughly 8 months of dividends washed away (at 15c per month) in the share price drop. They have to do what is best for the biz and I can't complain about the share price performance. But sometimes I wonder if these companies printing money don't wind up getting a bit too greedy and it all falls apart. Seen that movie, too.

Another monthly dividend coming to investors owning EFC before Tuesday (June 29th).

In my opinion, EFC is one of the better monthly paying dividend stocks. I'm not sure there is a lot of growth left in the actual stock price, but again, I don't think many investors can complain about getting more than a 9% yield either.

I'm glad that Ken or Jim aren't my financial managers ; )

Nice to see this strength in EFC. It's all due to the new volume EFC is seeing now. Ever since EFC moved into the SP Small Cap 600, the volume has been above a million shares each day (before that move into the Cap 600, the average volume was usually just a few hundred thousand shares).

Good Luck to All EFC Investors.

Management would not jump to a $0.14 monthly dividend if they did not firmly believe it is sustainable. Enjoy the 9.8% yield my fellow EFC shareholders!

Monthly book value continues to grow at a 25% annual rate. Dividend reaffirmed with plenty of room for future increases. Not many investments out there yielding 8.1% are as solid as Ellington Financial.

Man, EFC is just delivering on the earnings results with "upside" to the divvy from here. I can't believe I got shares around $4. If we ever go back to 15 cents monthly, the yield would be 45% annually! $1.80 in divvys / $4 cost basis = 45%.

Just got into Ellington and will increase my holdings very similar to AGNC government backed securities and a steady dividend think this be a good one in my portfolio 😀
