The world has moved into an energy crisis, additional supplies are required and a window has opened to build new liquefied natural gas developments, says Enbridge CEO Al Monaco.
In such turbulence, Canada can play an “outsized role” in the future of global energy, although regulatory challenges need to be removed so the country can provide low-carbon, secure and affordable energy to the world.

These were some of the key messages the head of Canada’s largest pipeline company delivered Wednesday during an address about the future of energy to the Canadian Club of Toronto.

Great dividend play here , headed much higher!
  • S
6% yield is insanely good. Even with rising interest rates, my line of credit charges less interest. This also happens to be a safe growth stock. What they sell is going to be needed wether we have a recession or not.
  • J
Todays the last day to receive the dividend correct?
  • E
Can’t complain about a 6% yield!! Safe, long term growth stock.
  • j
ENB is definitely a solid place to have money invested. Earnings will continue this year to be as good or better than we just received. & that dividend is hard to pass up on!

You have until the end of today to buy your shares if you want your dividend.
  • H
If I buy today, will I receive dividends on June 1st?
  • A
Added 200 yesterday, if it goes down. Will add more. This gives consistent increase of Dividend even on times of recession. Peace of mind on times of volatility.
Wonder when is the next stock split for this one? More than 10 years since they did that.
  • B
If you are Enbridge share holder tighten your seatbelt
If Enbridge dividends increase on average 5% per year
From 2022 to 2032 Enbridge dividends will be $43.15
Now if you are doing the drip
    Plus shares appreciation
We are talking double the value in 10 years !!!!!
  • S
So an earnings meet then, huh? 84 cents adjusted earnings per share, which is what was expected. Nice.

Regardless of market sell off or recession or whatever negativity in the market. Enbridge will always be a solid HOLD and BUY more stock for me. Everyone needs natural gas, and the value of it was crystal clear after Russian aggression in Ukraine and its cut-off to Euro zone.
Dividend paying solid stock. I love when it is red, I just buy more :)
True value is in the high 100's.

well considering we held up good today. dollar helped us out too

Enbridge (ENB) Earnings Expected to Grow: What to Know Ahead of Next Week's Release...
Enbridge (ENB) is expected to deliver a year-over-year increase in earnings on higher revenues when it reports results for the quarter ended March 2022. This widely-known consensus outlook gives a good sense of the company's earnings picture, but how the actual results compare to these estimates is a powerful factor that could impact its near-term stock price.

The earnings report, which is expected to be released on May 6, 2022, might help the stock move higher if these key numbers are better than expectations. On the other hand, if they miss, the stock may move lower.

While management's discussion of business conditions on the earnings call will mostly determine the sustainability of the immediate price change and future earnings expectations, it's worth having a handicapping insight into the odds of a positive EPS surprise.

This oil and natural gas transportation and power transmission company is expected to post quarterly earnings of $0.67 per share in its upcoming report, which represents a year-over-year change of +8.1%.

Revenues are expected to be $10.37 billion, up 10.9% from the year-ago quarter.
